  1. Most of these films suck, and wasn't the 3rd Pirates film really expensive too? How can they spend so much money on CG that looks fake? The thing is, crews are much bigger and earn a lot more money. Plus, if producers don't actually do their jobs, things can go sideways fast. I just don't know where all that money goes on these films. I almost wonder if some of them are tax write-offs or something. And I honestly thought a lot of Mad Max: Fury Road was CG because of the post effects. They made the cars look fake, even though they are 95% real. Why did they make everything rust colored? Watch the raw footage which looks 10x better and real.

  2. The battle scenes do NOT pop in Battle of the Five Armies. They're all CGI and you can't distinguish between each in the crowd. It looks more like a video game sometimes. And what's with the lighting effects in that movie. It's all drowned in orange and brown colours with soft glows. It's a terrible film.
