The whole problem lies in the fact that one has to use the term "Viking themed". Where the hell are actual "Viking (Norse)" games? Skyrim and Mount and Blade Viking Conquest need to mate and have a bastard child. I'd also like to put a gun to some game designers heads and FORCE them to thoroughly study what Viking weapons and armor ACTUALLY looked like.
You can get a fairly accurate "look" in Skyrim through mods for your OWN character but everybody else in the game world still looks comical as hell. It's distracting. I'd love for someone out there to come up with a mod that replaces ALL weapons and armors in the game for EVERY NPC with say the Viking weapons from "Bobs Armory" or "Chronicles of steel" and the armors from "Norse armor II" or "Yet another guards armor".
Watchmojo has something against Mount & Blade. Watchmojo sucks.
I want a 3rd person Viking themed game that has you go on raids

"Expeditions: Viking" Probably one of the more historically accurate viking themed games. It's an awesome tactical turn based game that deserves way more attention.

Eh, I'm a big fan of these series, but… Skyrim isn't game themed about Vikings. Yea, he has a huge inspiration from Scandinavian culture and Viking's history… but it's not about VIKINGS!

ah Lost Vikings…longtime ago since Blizzard went under the name Silicon and Synapse…both Lost Vikings and Rock n Roll Racing was great.
