There are Pokemon way tougher to take down than Wobbuffet. It has pathetically low defensive stats, and needs to correctly guess whether you're using a physical or special attack to do anything at all. Against something like Alakazam, this is no issue (if Wob can survive a hit), but mixed attackers deal with it with little effort.

What about the elder dragons in monster hunter im sure its harder to kill than wobuffet

Seymour Guado, field monsters are easy to kill once you get into the swing of it but this guy comes back in a different form each time you kill him.
