Wait, I thought Boromir died in the Fellowship of the Rings? Sorry, it's been WAY too long since I read the books! I should really get on that again…they were amazing….
The lupins in Harry Potter
I remember reading that book in highschool…To Kill a Mockingbird was a quite interesting book. I was shocked. Great book though.
Beth from Little Women
When Lennie died, I felt as though my heart was being ripped from my chest.
tywin deserved his death though
robb starks death from a storm of swords 😔😔😔😔😔😭😭
eponine from les miserables
nikolais death from war and peace
anna karenan's death was so heartbreaking to me.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭she is my favorite female character from fiction
Wait a second, want gatsby killed because he was wrongly accused of killing myrtle? Not for having an affair with her?
Please have Manchee please have Manchee please have Manchee
No Manchee
Oh well……
This list was poorly made
SNAPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Romeo and Juliet, enough said.
Umm I read to kill a mockingbird and Tom Robinson dying wasn't as sad as the list made it seem. He was basically a dead man walking because he was a black male accused of rape in the 1930s in Alabama. What did the readers expect?!?!
I'm sorry, but this list deserves in WM proper. Many guys do read novels.
HARRY POTTER ANYONE????? I threw the book when Sirius died and screamed when Fred Weasley died!
I know it is not a 'famous' novel, but Mr. Crepsley's death in the Darren Shan Vampire Saga killed me and reduced me to a withering wreck. I couldn't get over that for days.
Ned Stark 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Oml the green mile death had me wrecked!!! 😭😭
I'm pretty sure The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas is a middle grade/ya book so it shouldn't qualify on this list. Also, the two main deaths in The Absolutist (also written by John Boyne) were (in my opinion) much sadder
Helen from Jane Eyre, Prince Andrei from War and Peace.
Les Miserables?
Sean bean /Boromir death definitely
Just put every main character from a John Green book
"fiction novels" is redundant
