The saddest death is Robb and Catelyn's death in the Red Wedding. The most horrifying death is Shireen Baratheon. The dead character I miss the most is Eddard Stark.

The ones that made me really sad or a bit sad was Hodor, Lady Walda, Rickon, Robb, Cataley, Talisi, Margaery, Shireen, Pip, Jojen, Luwin, Ros, Nes Stark, Shae, Lysa, Tommen, Osha, Ygritte, joer, oberyn, myrcella…and I think that's all lol there may be more though.

I agree with the top three. Just in different order. I think the red wedding is number 3. Shireen's death at number 2. And Hodor at number 1. Since I own the seasons, after his death, I had to take a few days off from watching. His death was so heartbreaking.

For those of you saying Hodor might have survived, as much as I wish it were true, is is clearly false. Hodor holds shut the door, and they appear in the woods. Even if it was him running away, they would've hunted him. Even if he evaded them then, he would slowly turn as Brandons uncle did, only he wouldn't have any of the Children to save him. They're all dead. And thus, in great sadness, Hodor must be dead… :,(
