When Ned Stark was killed, I nearly quit watching because it upset me so bad. I continued watching hoping to see his death avenged only to watch Rob and Caitlin Stark get killed. Rooting for the other 3 Stark children. Btw, was there any significance, in your opinion to the birds flying that caught Arya's eyes as her dad's head was chopped off. If not, what was the purpose?

Rickon's death hurt. Prior to this season his name was "My Baby Rickon".
Currently I am very excited about it Eddard Starks' death. I believe that we will see Bran spoke to him before he died. I wonder what he said.
Rickon's death was maddening because Ramsey prolonged his murder( I kept yelling at the screen for him to zig zag) instead of getting over with, Jon's death was painful to watch especially when Ollye stabbed Jon in the heart, Rob's death was not a surprise, it was already in the making the minute he married another and his mother called him to get up and leave and he didn't. Eddard "Ned" had several chances to escape and his honor got him killed. In my opinion he caused his own death by telling Cersi of his plan and Cersi telling Joffrey that anyone against them was an enemi, plus the rumors of him not really being a Baratheon.
