It’s been a busy couple of days with new Game of Thrones Season 8 and Shazam! trailers, however there are many more flicks to keep on your radar. From Netflix’s Ultraman anime series to A24’s creepy take on festival culture, Midsommar, here are the top films and TV shows that are coming soon.

Brightburn

When a random child with strange powers crash-lands on Earth, all hell breaks loose. Brightburn, a superhero horror film starring Elizabeth Banks and David Denman, will arrive in theaters in May.

The Intruder

“Friendly company” turns into a nightmarish chase in The Intruder: After moving to a gorgeous Napa Valley house, two lovers (Meagan Good and Michael Ealy) become the bait for the former owner (Dennis Quaid), who can’t let go of his old hunting grounds. This psychological thriller hits theaters on May 3.

Game of Thrones Season 8

The Night King is coming with his chilling army, and Game of Thrones Season 8 is teasing a grueling battle sequence that might leave some Iron Throne contenders mortally wounded. Game of Thrones’ final season hits HBO on April 14, Until then, fans will have to wait to find out Winterfell’s fate.

Leila

Purity is law in the future…but one woman isn’t game for it. Leila, a new Netflix series, unleashes a battle of “resisting, repenting, and repeating,” as she tries to find her long-lost daughter. Starting June 14, you can watch this dystopian series on Netflix.

Ultraman

Ultraman, the giant of light, is back to protect Earth: This time Shinjiro Hayat, a high school student, must step up to the plate, wear the Ultra Suit, and become the new generation’s hero. This anime series hits Netflix on April 1.

Shazam!

My name is…what?! Shazam!, a comedy about a teenage boy who becomes stuck inside an “adult” superhero body, will hit theaters on April 5.

Cobra Kai Season 2

Danny and Johnny are returning to fight a bigger enemy in Cobra Kai Season 2. Will they have what it takes to beat Cobra Kai? Or, will Daniel’s new Miyagi-Do dojo lead to a major loss? Catch this comedy series on YouTube Premium on April 24.

Midsommar

No speaking, no moving, but you’ll get to witness the “influence.” Midsommar, a horror film about an eerie festival that’s coming this summer, will actually make you rethink Burning Man or Coachella. Oh, and let’s not forget the chilling soundtrack of bells, breathing, and outer space noises.
