I never thought I would like this show, but now I'm hooked on it watch it from beginning 8 times so far.. Like you said they testing how people will react.. It will be a huge mistake if carls dies.. I believe they will leave Carl in the sewer til the war is over.. Praying they fix it that he got bit by a whisperer and let him come back later on in the story.. They can't kill Carl, he survived being shot twice, he can survive this.. Carl is Carl , He can't die…

This community is fuckin cancer…first everybody hated Carl and wanted him to die, complained about the show being boring, everybodys big complaint was"nobody important dies" then Glenn and Abraham died and they completely contradicted themselves by saying the show was dead after 7×1, complained about a lack of action in s7, complain about too much action in s8 and now they are saying that the show is dead because of Carl….their are people who just don't like the show for their own reasons….and their are these retards^^^^^^^^^
