Tyrion Lannisters Lost Love (Game of Thrones Theory/ASOIAFTheory)

Tyrion Lannisters long lost first wife and true love Tysha is only mentioned in the books, but today I’ll discuss some possible candidates as we may have already met her in a song of ice and fire.

  1. Why would Tywin care? Tyrion's just a dwarf and useless (in tywins eyes.) So why did even care when he married a whore? He even said himself he would rather be consumed by maggots than give him Casterly Rocky. This doesn't make sense

  2. I dont think this question would be answered. I believe that when the story ends, Tyrion would win Casterly Rock and look out towards the Sunset Sea and ask to himself "where do whores go?".

  3. I believe Tysha is the Sailor's Wife. We have no description of her appearance. The timeline fits. Tysha spent 2 weeks making love to Tyrion, & her daughter Lanna resembles Cersei. She invented the "Sailor's Wife" backstory for fear of Tywin Lannister. If Yna is such a great maegi, why is she working in a brothel?
Tysha would've wanted to get as far away from Lord Tywin as possible, & she was not penniless. Tywin said the steward of Casterly Rock sent her on her way. Tysha had possibly 20 silver stags & 1 gold dragon from the rapes, and perhaps the steward put her on a ship to Braavos at Tywin's command (in case Jaime came clean.) Remember, Tywin forbade Tyrion from touring the Free Cities when he came of age. With all that Lannister gold, Tyrion would've been interested in the courtesans of Braavos, & Braavos is easily the most interesting of the Free Cities.

  4. If Meris is Tysha it would make for quite the reunion: Tyrion finding himself unable to love the disfigured Tysha whom he describes as having loved him despite his looks. I quite like this.

  5. Whores go into another man's bed.

I have this theory Tywin got Tysha in bed (this is why he refuses to say to Tyrion where he sent her)
We already saw Tywin is not over getting his son's women in bed.
I believe Tysha got pregnant, maybe from Tyrion, maybe from Tywin, and got Podric Payne.

The main reason to point out is Tywin commuting the death penalty for Podric to squiring to Tyrion.
When did Tywin forgive a debtor or, worse, a thief? Never.
But when he hear Podric name, he does.

Maybe Podric was borne (and his mother died there) and then Tywin sent the child to be raised by the old, poor, Payne (his far relatives) to keep the matter quiet and discrete.
As he could not kill Tyrion, he probably could not kill or let die another Lannister child.

  6. Taena Merryweather is an intriguing theory that I hadn't heard before. Especially with her being quite friendly with Cersei. I wondered about Pretty Pia, at Harrenhal, but I think she's too young and maybe Jaime would have remembered her. It's tinfoil, but Pia does keep on popping up regulsrly. But Jaime even tells himself "she's more fit for Tyrion's bed than yours".

Edit: Pia was "a young girl" at the time of Walter When's Tourney, so she is actually old enough.

  7. I don't think dishes story is going to go away it's in the books and it's in the show if it was going to go way they would have a minute it by now but a horse go to little finger than little finger can't die in season 7 without first disclosing to Tyrion where she is which means that we might find out and season 7 where whores go on another note there's one character you failed to mention and that's the prostitute Queen in so School Jorah and Tyrion visit in order to get passage to or direction to the golden company it seems unlikely that she would be willing to support them but then she changes her mind last minute I'm going to go reread that text I am thought about this question and I'm surprised this is the first time I've ever seen a conspiracy video about it but now I need to look into it with specifically that's that chapter this is something I wanted to know but didn't really think to Google and now I'm going to read that chapter

  8. I don't think the first one is that far fetched.
When she said "Her love is dead, I can feel it" she doesnt say "Husband". At this point Tyrion visited every whorehouse he could find at later was in "true love" with Shae.
Given how visions and magic work in GOT she could simply mean that.
After Tyrion heard the truth he changed, he couldn't touch any "whores" any more and constantly thought of Tysha.

And the sea may easily by symbolism for "her husband being very far at an unknown place"
