Zack Snyder’s Justice League, aka the Snyder Cut, is almost here, and it looks as gloriously melodramatic as we could’ve hoped.

The extremely melodramatic trailer is here for Zack Snyder’s Justice League, aka the Snyder Cut, the four-hour re-up of 2017’s Justice League that preserves director Zack Snyder’s original vision. Check out the trailer below, complete with portentous music and heavy lines about alliances and destiny:

Also, Jared Leto’s redesigned Joker shows up at the end, speaking to Batman during a vision the Caped Crusader has of what the world will be like if the Justice League can’t stop Darkseid from wrecking the world. “We live in a society where honor is a distant memory,” he says.

That’s a little nod to the “We Live in a Society” meme, which generally mocked the self-seriousness of the kind of person who would un-ironically compare themselves with the Joker as if it was a good thing. Although it seems to be presented un-ironically in the movie, which is pretty on-brand for Snyder.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League lands on HBO Max on March 18. The internet basically willed this movie into being, and I’m pretty excited for all of us to finally see it.
