  1. brett's point of how spencers harry potter pitch sounded like an adult trying to connect with kids is true spencer's pitch did not sound great at all and i've seen him say before he doesn't even remember fred weasley so idk if i trust spencer with what he wants in harry potter brett and tracy both had more compelling stories tbh.

  2. Darth Maul has a huge backstory that would be really interesting to see in a movie. You'd get to see the struggle between his mom and Palpatine, the difference between the magic their race uses and the force which itself would expand the Star Wars universe, and it would allow the audience to view a whole new, more fantasy-based, side to the Star Wars mythos. I'd be down to see that.

  3. The way Spencer wanted to do the new Harry Potter was so goddamn terrible. I honestly can't understand why he got the point. Even though Tiffany's didn't seem as good after it was fleshed out, I still would have rather seen her movie rather than Spencer's.

  4. The only good picks that Brett couldve got that I can think of for those last two speed rounds are Men in Black and Lucky Number Slevin, but those are hard to remember quickly.

  5. I bet you part of the reason Pokémon is getting a live action before Mario gets a Pixar style, is because it can handle a mega loss. The Pokémon games and products would still sell as, let's be honest, Pokémon may be 2nd after Mario but Mario has ten years on Pokémon and it's determined by total sales not average. Currently Pokémon sells much more in percentage then Mario, although Mario still sells strong. Anyway, Pokémon movie first, if it works risk Mario. I know one is live action the other potentially cartoon but Pokémon has a bigger challenge going live then Mario would remaining cartoon and if they can create a good Pokémon movie then it's Nintendo exposure to Hollywood and movie trust. Something they don't currently have. Mario is big but it can't take a loss the Pokémon can. As in you could destroy casuals going to Mario.
Although Mario run has great exposer potential too.
