Are all of the Children of the Forest gone? Are there any hiding in the forests? Maybe at the Isle of Faces at the God’s Eye?

  1. I think the children of the forest is a good example of how early humans used to live and how they have been toppled by a bigger and stronger civilization.

If you ever get a chance, read a book called "The Tribe" by Sebastian Junger. The book outlines how people who live in smaller communities are usually much happier and are less destructive than living in big communities.

Looking at the societies of Westoros and Essos you can clearly see that the big civilization that men have created is actually bad for happiness of the people in general.

    Great video.

  2. See the lore concerning isle of faces.
Only very few have been as boats approach the winds and currants don't allow them to get there.
A targarian prince flew on a dragon.
It's a mystery how howlan reed got there if he did at all

  3. Am I wrong in thinking that Benjen said that Children of the Forrest saved him from the White Walkers? Does this means there's other around beyond the wall? Or would it be the same ones from the cave? Then why doesn't Blood Raven mention to Bran that they've saved his uncle Benjen?

I might be completely wrong in thinking this though.

  4. I was sitting here stunned 😮… when you said that you hope that we have a really happy day, thanks for that. You are a wise man. If there are no Children left, then there is no longer a need for WW either, I hope that they go extinct as well. Good day Kev ♥

  5. If there were any singers south of the wall they definitely would have been found. Also off topic, what do u think about bran seing wight Hodor and that maybe brings back emotions making him human again, as opposed to his robotic emotionless personality

  6. I want sooooooo badly to draw some parallels to recent events in real life between the Singer's reverence for the land (which you did a fine job of outlining) and the disrespect currently being shown to some federally protected land…but I won't. I think you're correct that we've seen the last of the Children. Tho I really would like to see the Isle of Faces in the show but I think that mystery will have to wait for George to explain in the books.

  7. oh fuck …. you video make me cry because sadly all those things are true in our cruel world. were children died in war , killed by adults , robe of their innocent and yes even give them away in marriage. is sad really sad.

  8. This video was so sad that it made me cry, Seriously! At the same time it was intriguing because I have the feeling that when the great war is in motion, all the elements of nature (the children of the forest) will manifest and annihilate the white walkers in the same way as Saruman's orcs were set upon and destroyed by Fangorn's angry trees (Huorns)

  9. Do you there the are any wight Singers? Their bodies return to the earth after death so if the White Walkers brought them back that could be considered revenge as their body would be forced to live on.

  10. I noticed that the face on the weirwood looked exactly like the 3 eyed raven in the scene when leaf and Cof created the 1st whitewalker. The Cof may have been directed by their weirwood tree (3 eyed raven ) to create the whitewalkers. There's another parallel too between the Cof and the destruction of native American cultures in my opinion. Great video, Thanks, Love QOT.🌹

  11. Wow, just wow. The way you narrated the passage about the old world being almost gone, with the music playing in the background, I almost cried man.

I think the Children are dead, all of them. It's sad, but so is the Song of Ice and Fire, a vicious circle of death, treason, pain and suffering, and for what. To be killed by an army of dead men. I still think there is very little hope for men. I think the White Walkers will kill many, so that only a few humans remain, giving the lands back to the wild, to giants and mountainlions and unicorns. Except, they're all gone. Maybe the White Walkers were a tool from the gods and the Singers, to give the lands back those who preserved it. But they failed the first time. They now fight for a cause lost long ago. The entire story of the White Walkers could be that of tragedy. Or it could be left unexplored and humans would win and Jon and Dany would rule Westeros and everyone is happy. We'll see.
