I really enjoyed this video! More please!
So evil
It's discreet not discrete.
This channel is so good better than that wild ass last harpy theories
that background music can make me feel for anyone… poor cersei
is jaime that good though? i thought he doesnt have that many great feats, as joffrey mentions when reading from the book of kings guards. in terms of feats people like Jon, Dondarion and Sandor have much more experience. i always thought jaime fought ned in the show to test him self against a man he believed beat Arthur Dayne, because he feels unproven.
Bridge4…That was very good.
And to 'Think' I read these books.
So much has been forgotten now.
Actually the show has ruined my memory. LOL
I really need to RE-READ the damn books again. (sigh)
The theory that Bran is the Night King could tie in here.
What if it's only a 'giant' from the storyteller's perspective and the sky's colour has nothing to do with it?
What if what has happened so far is in one of Bran's visions of the past from the future where he is the (blue-eyed and giant by comparison) Night King and it's all right before the even of battle with men for the season 8 finale?
Awesome vid again!
Oh….I thought there would be some mystery to it, but you're saying he's just there: Castle Stokeworth.
Cersei is indeed a 100 times worse than Bronn.
an angry boar…no wait….used that one already……
Qyburn makes my skin crawl. It's actually good that we're not given details about his "work " it let's the mind run wild with the possibility of his horrors, like Hitchcock used to do.Hes the most terrifying character in my opinion. Love QOT.🌹
The part of this that's so important is that Bronn turns on Cersei and Cersei wants to get rid of him. He is not going to tolerate that.
When was Falyse shown in the show?
It's what you don't see that makes it horrific. The agony of that poor woman for acting like she has been taught her entire life, just to see everything taken away from her in a second. Then she trusts in even worst people and will suffer torture beyond her reasoning. And why? What did she do? She was not malicious enough. Too upfront about things.
bronn's the man
So did Qyburn just need people in general? Why women specifically?
so all in all he got his bloody castle
This was a great video.
Will you do more like this one?
Boy please tell me your last name is bridge
Mischief at Castle Stokeworth… sounds like a mystery novel…lol
Your videos are one of a kind
a shame that in the show
we don't get to see Bronn's personal Sigil. I really like it.
Nice touch adding in Cersei's facial expressions during the conversation. That last smile is just straight up cruel in the context of it all.
Good vid man!
In the books he finally has his fucking castle.
I love your narration of the text with the use of dialogue bubbles. Very enjoyable. 👍
One trait the Lannisters all have (except for Tywin) is humor. Cersei doesn't show it much but this was a good example of it. It also shows how she surrounds herself with people she can manipulate but they are all incompetent
Cersi's really messed up, I'm glad that I don't know her♥
I love A Feast for Crows. I think Bronn is well aware of Cersei's intent. He's biding his time. He's smarter than your average sellsword. I really hope we hear more of him. He's definitely an interesting character!
Hey Bridge, love your videos!
A few days ago I was discussing with a friend a possible outcome for Tyrion's arc on the show, and I would love to read your opinion on it (if you discussed this on a video before, sorry!)
POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR THE SHOW BELLOW ye be warned!
So! during the seventh season of GoT I was feeling like way to many things were happening for covenience, or poor writing, (the show is getting further and further away from the awesome writing of GRRM), BUT a couple of things happened to Dany that I just can't excuse as poor writing, there must be something there: Euron greyjoy knew exactly where to attack, and the Lannisters knew exactly where to defend.. among other things.
It's very plausible to think someone is betraying her, you covered the possibility of Missandei being a spy, which is a cool idea, but what about our favorite drunken small man?
We don't know what Tyrion discussed with Cersei to convince her of coming back and talking with Dany again.. it must have been something HUGE.
What if, Tyrion IS putting the Lannisters as a priority? but not on Cersei's terms? what if he told Cersei about Dany not being able to have children, and so IF Cersei were to help everyone dealing with the threat to the North, after the united kingdoms are ruled by Dany for some years… Cersei's newborn would become the new King/Queen, securing the Lannisters the crown!
This would explain why the Lannisters knew everything they had to do against Dany (except for the battle she flew in and wrecked everything, because that was a last second decision), why Cersei agreed on coming back, AND why Tyrion was so worried about Jon and Dany getting together, because that would ruin his plans for Cersei's kid..
Well, what do you / you guys think?! Am I missing something important here? maybe I just completely missed the point! lol
Thanks for the opinions in advance!
should have been in the show
I like how you highlighted just how twisted, conniving and stupid Cersei is in the books. She is in the show too but it comes through in the books much more (no disrespect to Lena Headey intended, she's an amazing actress.) On the flip side Bronn has more show time than book time. I enjoy this type of video a lot as you remind us of some of the great subtle character nuances found in the books that we haven't thought about in a long time. You're quite adept at identifying them and explaining them to us dullards. 🙂 You're Cersei "voice" made me chuckle. Stellar job as always Kev.
Your insights are so good and well researched. Thanks!
What idiot would fight bronn one on one
It also got me thinking about how in the show, cerci wanted bronn punished for setting up a meeting between Jaime and Tyrion. In the last episode, we see bronn stepping aside with pod. I wonder if he heard from Jaime about cerci being unhappy and decided to take his chances with the dragon queen. I mean, he is not stupid.
Wow. I recall that from "audiobooking" and it sure gave me shivers again. It reminds me of when cerei went to the Sept thinking she was safe, but then was taken against her will. 😱
i really enjoyed this.
Bronn is the Prince that was promised.
They might do something similar in s8 for Bronn. Jaime left without him, after all. Meaning Bronn is left with Cersei and hers.
lol Honestly I would've reacted the same way as Cersei did. Sounds terrible I know, but is not even funny how naive and dumb these characters were.
His narration is actually pretty great
I am thinking after my 3rd re-read that I am actually reading the stories of two worlds. One being say the night side and the other being the day side. Kinda crazy yes, but everything mirrors itself.
