  1. One question.
Why does everyone think there will be a nights watch after the Great War? They already lost a section of the wall. The white walkers and white army are already south of the wall. The nights watch has already failed. PLUS before the white walkers, the north wasn't the frozen tundra we know it as today. It was Woods and forest, even beyond the wall. Don't you think it will return to that once the white walkers have been eradicated? The wall would melt in the "dream of spring"
Why would any character end up joining the nights watch? Or becoming the lord commander? There won't be a wall to patrol. There won't be wildlings to push back. No white walker threats. No white army. No more giants. No more ice dragons.
WHY DOES ANYONE BELIEVE THERE WILL STILL BE A WATCH AFTER THE GREAT WAR?

  2. Lml very well informed, calmed and very confident. Tony in the other hand… not so much. Just a stubborn kid who tries to be stannis baratheon but as one blacksmith said… will break before he bends.

  3. I don’t think the actor who is tied to the weirwood tree portraying the first white is the same actor who plays the nights king. I could be wrong. Just an observation. But it might be worth checking out. Is there any evidence that the man tied to the weirwood is indeed the night king or is it simply assumption?

  4. there is definitely a vampire vibe being used by George. I don't trust the children either. I think the two curses have to cancel each other to break the wheel (Wheel of Time). if either side wins (whitewalkers or Dragons) there will always be destruction

  5. The fantastic 4 YouTube's! Shit got a little heated in the long night segment lol, but I love the passion. Y'all 4 have a great chemistry; complementing and challenging each other. Thanks for the awesome content, and I want more of you 4 together!

  6. I love the really highly sophisticated theories from LML… But is really a pity when he joins from time to time the "I own the ultimate truth" club… (Unfortunately a growing number of members there…)

  7. Really great GOT discussion, after watching the show and your you discussion. It seems the TV show will use Milasandra to be used to be one who has the sword plunged in her. For the sword to becomes Light bringer. Only as hunch or one theroy they introduce into the TV. Now who will do it not sure there is two major candidates. Good luck just a theroy. But with her two falied previous attempts , just possibility.

  8. I truly enjoy your channel but this podcast was all over the place and VERY LONG. what happened to the podcast with talking thrones, secret of the citadel, smoke screen??? those had a better flow not just a bunch of ppl talking over each other and disagreements

  9. This is some of the best GoT theory content I've ever heard in one place!

One thing this podcast made me rethink was that the Last Hero's companions were turned into WW (aka abandoned him) or killed by the WWs. I wonder if The Great Other or The Cold made WWs and the Last Hero's companions were the first White Walkers, instead of WWs already existing and picking off the companions, and implying that WWs being one in the same as The Others or the only beings that make up The Others. The Children being the creators of the WW in the show could be a simplified version of The Children bringing magical winter/cold and death/ The Long Night. I think it could be a stretch, but the way the legend is told leaves this interpretation plausible.

I agree that The Children are more sinister, because I also subscribe to the theory that the Last Hero became the Night's King, and he and his companions were the first Nights Watchmen. This would mean that The Children helped the Last Hero survive only to seduce him into helping The Other's cause anyway. We don't know the details of how The Children helped him, so he could have made a pact with them. He could not have understood the implications of that pact and unknowingly agreed to become the NK. This would also support the WW coming after the pact at the end of the Dawn Age; the First Men didn't understand what they were agreeing to and the Long Night was some kind of stipulation.

Side note: I noticed in the show that when Jon fought the WW at Hardhome that the WW seemed to be fighting in an honorable fashion, and wondered if the show used that opportunity to reveal info about the WW slowly instead of making the cold opening more faithful to the prologue.
