Welcome back to Take the Black Live, the only show on the internet where people discuss things like movies and TV. Why has no one thought of this? I don’t know, but I’m happy to fill the gap.
I had a cold during this episode, hence the raspy voice. Should I switch over to it permanently?
Anyway, there were lots of important topics to dig into this week, including:
- HBO has ended its tenancy at Titanic Studios in Northern Ireland, long the home of Game of Thrones. Where does this leave House of the Dragon, the upcoming prequel series?
- Special guest Josh “Little Fella” Hill joins us for a discussion of the newest James Bond film, which has just gotten delayed from right around the corner to the end of the year. Why is the coronavirus trying to ruin our good time?
- What do we make of the recent phenomenon of Disney releasing crucial information about its movies in ancillary media? Insidious plot to monopolize our time, or straightforward mediocrity?
Finally, Mia and I talk about what we’ve been watching lately. Just try and stop me from gushing about The Outsider on HBO.
