Who did Joseph Quinn play in Game of Thrones?

Fans are loving Joseph Quinn’s role as Eddie in season 4 of Stranger Things. However, the Netflix show isn’t his first role in a major TV show.

The 29-year-old actor starred as Koner in GOT. Hardcore fans might remember that Koner is a soldier sworn to House Stark.

Back in 2017, in Game of Thrones‘ season 7, Koner was among the two guards stationed at the front gates of Winterfell. The other one was Henk. The two have a brief rendezvous with Arya Stark when she arrives.

Unable to recognize who she is, Henk asks her what she’s doing there before commanding her to leave. Arya replies saying she will be entering the castle. Koner and Henk let out a big laugh.

The two refuse to believe who she is and claim that Arya Stark is dead.

When Arya asks for Maester Luwin and Ser Rodrik Cassel, they reply that nobody with those names is at Winterfell. They insist Arya leave, informing her that Sansa Stark is in charge of the castle now.

Arya warns them about the consequences if Sansa finds out that they turned her sister away. While Koner and Henk argue over who will report her to Sansa, Arya disappears into the castle.

A look at Joseph’s Eddie Munson in Stranger Things 4

Joseph’s character as Eddie Munson in Stranger Things is a lot more charismatic than his role in Game of Thrones.

Eddie is a sixth-year senior at Hawkins High School. He is also the loud and charismatic leader of The Hellfire Club, a Dungeons and Dragons society, in the show’s new season.

He’s often seen stomping on the table in the cafeteria, shouting at people, and generally being very intense. 

However, during one of his interactions with Chrissy Cunningham, we learn that Eddie can also be a sweetheart and really listen to someone when they’re having problems.

Just as Eddie and Chrissy start having a good time with each other, Vecna, the villain, arrives and all hell breaks loose.
