3:17 Melisandre says “Only a king’s blood can wake the stone dragon” and “Give me [Edric Storm] and I shall wake the stone dragon” in Davos IV, ASOS, not Eddard II, AGOT.

  1. ok, so hear me out; Jon is the prince that was promised, Jon and Dany have a baby. The baby is azor azai. Born beneath a fiery sky (dragon fire or the likeness) amidst a fighting fleet (salt), Dany dies and the sacrifice is made. Jons "inherited" sword is somehow warped and LIGHTBRINGER.

  2. For sure the prince and azor are different people. I think it's Jaime Lannister.
1:The sword Dawn chooses it's wielder, and more likely a skilled fighter.. Don't know what that means but let's go with it.
2: he loves cersei and could be his neesa neesa and seems she's out of hand at this point and Jaime has to kill her. ( Making dawn choose him for making peace for it)
3: Jaime may not be targaryan or three headed and kinda doesn't have Kings blood BUT he is called Kingslayer and killed a targaryan. That might not mean much but he does have two other siblings Wich makes him the third one.

  3. No-one in the series is Azor Ahai, you're missing the one element of writing that will lead to the final answer. GRRM founds his song of ice and fire on a part-legend and unreachable characters to those whom the story follows. Therefore when all stars are aligned, the fallible characters will ultimately fall to create the next legend and this unreachable character who will ultimately save the kingdoms. Or so those who remain will believe. The next legend and unreachable character IS the song of ice and fire AND Amor Ahai… on the promise of ice and on the promise of fire, when they fuse shall be the new leader, but it won't happen within the space and time of the books or the TV show… but we will see this character as a baby. it's parents will sacrifice themselves for it, and the child will be raised by a counsel of surrounding characters, until it comes of age. Effectively the realm will be a republic. The child shall be raised as a peacekeeper because of the legend that surrounds it and the legends of its parents. In the end of the books and TV show, no-one sits on the throne, but there will be the 'promise' of this legend to come, and it shall be a baby; the song of ice and fire.  Leading to speculation whether this child will truly be royal or permit the realm to be ruled by democracy. I'm sure you can put the rest together and work out who the child is. I've tried to not actually say it. Ice will die and Fire will die to sacrifice for the realm and the song of ice and fire.

  4. The baby born as Aegon Targaryen, was named Jon Snow – he is the SON(G) of fire (>>Lyanna) and ice (>>Rheagar)
He definitely is the prince that was promised. And like "GGAnth36" wrote, he could end up being Azor Ahai – by killing Dany. But as we know by now, he is more than attracted to her and he is a good person, he would never kill her willingly. So maybe Dany has to run into his sword. She already did a lot for the higher purpose…

  5. My Theory after watching season 7 is that Bran Stark is the Azor Ahai. Just hear me out here. i believe that the Night King will Take the north and in order to stop him Bran will travel back in time to build the magic wall with the help of children of the forest and save the world but humans will end the peace treaty and attack children of forest and send them to the other side of wall. that will be when children make white walkers. and Bran will get angry that all of this went for nothing so he will become obsessed with frustration and turns into the Night king himself. and to answer how does the night king controls all of the whites lies here as well. Bran is in rage thus loosing control over his power and stuck in the time loop becoming the night king and mastering his power so well that now he can not only control the living people but also the dead. and the white walkers are human children that were sacrificed before the night king. he took them and transferred some of his abilities in them so that is why they can also control the whites but only the ones raised by the certain walker. now what will happen in the present? after loosing north humans will move to the south in kings landing. there we will see danny looking at the throne while snow is falling on her. everything is now in ruins and no one is left except her Aegon (jon snow) their baby and cercei. sir jamie will die protecting Bran Stark while he travels back in time. but again its all just a theory. i may or may not be correct 😉

  6. about the "born under a bleeding star, amidst salt and smoke" aspect of jon: before ned entered the tower of joy he beat ser arthur dayne who wielded the sword dawn made from a fallen star… as we see in the tv-series ned took the bloodied sword dawn and he put it next to lyannas bed when she gave birth to jon… thus "born under a bleeding star"… "amidst salt" from lyannas tears "and smoke" from the rebellion that was taking place… just a thing i read somewhere else that made sense to me
