Why didn’t Night king shoot Drogon although being nearer and Immobile. This is the Common question that comes to mind whenever we think about Viserion’s death.

  1. No offense but I stopped reading after reason #4. It's hard to take any of this seriously when you know it in your bones the writers got lazy here. Might as well make a video titled " Where the f!ck did the night king get ice chains to pull the dragon from the frozen lake?" I bet the same moron writer who gave us a pointless zombie bear was responsible for this. I recommend you watch ralphmoviemaker's video on game of thrones. He carefully explains why S7 is obviously the worst season in the series.

  2. Maybe he assumed he could have both. Viserion was in flight and drogon was grounded with others trying to mount him. He took out the one who was capable of escape. If Jon hadn’t told Dany to leave, he would have gotten both.

  3. it was director's move to get you speculating…. otherwise Martin would'nt write the scene as…"he appeared to target the drogon but shot viserion instead…,"
its the directors doing… not martin's.The scenes we watched in s7 are not exactly martin's book writing anyways.

  4. From a story point of view Drogon is Dany's dragon and I'm assuming Rhaegal will have a connection with Jon in season 8. Viserion needed to die to create a satisfactory story and he didn't have a main role also it made for some great TV. Love the videos. Keep them coming.

  5. There is another reason, actually, what killed Viserion wasn't the spear itself, but the fire Viserion was breathing at the moment that the spear hit him… this is common whenever a fantasy series wants to kill a dragon, let me explain, Viserion was the only dragon breathing fire, at the moment the spear hit him and it pierced the artery that dragon fire goes through, making this artery imploding and opening the wound even further, see the fire coming out of his neck??? and then the large amount of blood coming out??? too much blood for just a spear wound on a dragon… you can see these kind of techniques on movies like How To Train Your Dragon, when Toothless threw fire at Red Death's mouth before it breath fire, killing it with fire from the inside… or at the end of Reign Of Fire, when they threw a rocket at the dragon's mouth using it's own fire to blow it up from the inside…

  6. my question is where the hell did the dead or night king get a chain to drag the dragon out of the water? how the hell did the dead get the chain on the neck of the dragon in the water? can the dead swim?

  7. Doodle pup- In the name of the old gods and the new, please get a native speaker of English to look at your script before you post it! Some of your points are borderline incoherent because of your attempt at English grammar. Look, your ideas are great and intriguing. Just please take my advice, your subscribers who are native speakers of English will truly thank you for it.

  8. The night king has a bond with Bran. I think in a way that he is Bran. That being said, The night king set a trap. He could have threw spears and killed the men trapped in the center of the lake, but he didn't. I don't think he wants to kill Jon. I think he picked viserion over drogon because He needed to take one and Vicerion was good enough.I think that he missed on purpose when he threw that second spear. There is going to be a twist of some sort in the story.

  9. My thoughts.

Drogon: was on land picking up the survivors; Thus making him not an immediate threat.

Rheagal: Was the farthest away from the Night King, following behind Viserion.

Viserion: Path was heading towards the Night King and others.
    Making Viserion the biggest threat.

  10. It makes sense that the night king would go after the dragon that's burning his army. He probably realized that because of Jon, Drogon and company were being stalled so he could take them out later, first let's get one of the flying ones.

  11. Plot. Drogon is the "favorite" dragon and the one that tends to take the initiative more while the other two have less defined personalities. From a logical point of view, Drogon would have been the best choice to attack since he was essentially laying down and killing him would have also been bad for the people riding on his back. But for the story's purpose, Viserion was more expandable and could still serve the purpose of becoming the ice dragon.
