  1. Im not even gonna watch this. Defending the show is just pointless. Timeline is messed up, lots of inconsistencies, I mean I understand it can never be like the books but if you look at seasons 1 to 4 those were all great, the show really dropped down after GRRM cut all ties with the show after season 4. After that it just became a mockery of what it once was, also really predictable. Also the way they change characters that are just fucking awesome in the book that just completely suck in the show case and point Euron, Stannis, Barristan Selmy, Mance Raydar i could go on and on I mean even the good show characters like Jaime. The change that Jaime goes through with him starting to doubt cercei stated in feast for crows and has just been introduced in the show, making him less interesting in like 3 seasons if not more. Cool vegeta shirt tho

  2. Jon and Dany, if they'd just ALLIED (and not fucked) would have been perfect… BUT NO, of course for production value and to please casual fans (and sometimes just the horny fans) they shoved that "love story" down our throats… Yayyyy

  3. Cersei's character was the only one to not be butchered…
Viserion's death was great but EVERYTHING leading up to it was completely disrespectful to the watchers' intelligence.
Jon and Dany (hooking up) was the most predictable pile of manure I've ever seen. I don't think they work as characters, it was forced as f-ck and they only ended up together because the producers needed more sex appeal/sex scenes for the show…
I also can't stand at the beginning, when they first time, and Dany's ranting about what she's 'been through' like she's the only one to ever have been sold off, raped, belittled and abused… EXCUSE me, but I think the f-ck not!

  4. This isn't a complaint or anything but am I the only one who doesn't get that medieval feel in GoT after season 1. It's nothing to do with the quality of the show (all the seasons are outstanding), but something about season 1 makes it seem more 'medieval' than seasons 2-7.

  5. My only complaint is that it was 7 episodes, it should've been 10. We barely got any scenes as Jon Snow being king in the north in Winterfell and scenes of a typical day in kings landing with cersei as queen (like how we used to with Joffery). I understand that the show is ahead of the books. But overall still awesome. IMO its the second best season. I'd rank it as 4,7,6,1,3,2,5.

  6. Good list! I want to point out, though, that I think that any comment that such-and-such a thing is "fan service" can be safely disregarded and need not be engaged with.  Literally any possible outcome that people can imagine has people who want it to happen.  I remember in the run-up to the release of Harry Potter 7 that there were people claiming that they WOULD ask for a refund if it didn't end with Harry waking up in the cupboard under the stairs and realizing the entire wizarding world had been a dream.  So, if "giving the fans what they want" is "fan service," then by definition all possible outcomes are "fan service."  It's like Rule 34, except for fandoms instead of porn/fetishes.

People who claim that confirming R+L = J and having a Daenerys/Jon hookup (which I'll wager likely IS going to happen in some capacity in the books) are "fan service" but, say, having it be revealed that – surprise! – Ned actually WAS suppressing memories of Ashara Dayne being his first love (I really have heard people make this argument) and Ned really did act entirely out of character in taking Jon away from her and raising him the way he did is NOT "fan service" do not know what they are talking about and are not worth listening to.

  7. I have to agree. I found season 7 quite weak, not as good as previous ones have been, but at the same time I waited for every episode and when I could, watched it immediately (what was it, 4 or 5 am my time?). It had its good parts and bad parts, and I can't wait for season 8.

  8. Cersei will be out of play by this time in the books for sure. D&D are only keeping her around because they like strong women characters. She's OP in the show, and her terrible decision making is almost never shown. Of course, I could be wrong. We'll never know until the last 2 books are published.

  9. This show tells us no matter what evil the man commits, "whether it is for a greater purpose or not" they'll have to suffer the consequences for it. Just look at the sand snakes, each of them killed their adversaries and their victims for the sake of their country, but in the end each of have been killed off in the same way.

  10. What you said at the end was so on point! That's what i tell every whine Game of Thrones fan who always point out the negative things! Amazing video and amazing standpoint!

  11. Thanks for posting this! S7 wasn't among my favorites, but I didn't hate it as much as a lot of people seem to. In fact, I enjoyed it well enough. Nothing wrong with anyone's opinions on the season, but a lot of fans attack those of us that were fine with it as brainless and nothing more than mindless fans. Thanks for pointing out the positives, very few youtubers have done that for s7!
