Welcome back for another Game of Thrones Season 8 Prediction Video. Today I wanted to talk about Jaime Lannister and some of the things I think will happen to him during the final season. When this series began Jaime Lannister met Jon Snow for the first time and he was very disrespectful to him and the Night’s Watch and I think their first meeting will come full circle in The Great War. During the Season 7 Finale Jaime finally left Cersei to head North and live up to his word. Jaime wants to help defend the realm from The Others but the only problem is ever since Jaime lost his hand he can no longer fight. Jaime has been saved several times since then and he will need saved again. He thought Jon Snow and the Night’s Watch was a joke but he will soon realize he needs them to protect himself and the entire realm. There are a few Season 8 Updates in here also. Potential minor spoilers so proceed with caution. Let me know what you think. Thanks for watching!

  1. I was just watching that scene today at winter fell. The Kingsroad. I really hope season 8 delivers some justice finally. We’ve been dying for some since Ned Stark got beheaded. Only bit of justice so far has been Joffrey choking to death.

  2. I think it would be a nice touch if they had Jaime doing something heroic and saving Dany's life. He gained his reputation as the Kingslayer for killing Aerys (although that was obviously a very wise decision on Jaime's part), so maybe one of the stopping points on his redemption arc could be Jaime saving the Mad King's daughter.

Edit: I do, however, think that being saved by Jon and saving Bran (even giving his life to protect him) would be extremely fitting for Jaime's character.

  3. Hi, I always enjoy your videos and very much agree that Jaime is destined to protect Bran… and I think you could be right about him being saved by Jon or a Nightswatchman. After watching many of your videos as well as Smokescreen, Gray Area, and all the other great video makers for over a year, I have finally started making my own videos. I hope you might visit my channel as well. I would love to start conversing more with some of the great theorist out there like yourself. Thanks again for all that you do! Take care!

  4. Well said also i cant wait to see how Jamie reacts when he finds out Jon is Rhaegaers son. He really is going to follow him then being his brothers son and he couldn't fight with him at the Trident but he could make it up to him now.

  5. It would be also ironic if the Nights Watch is started over once the great war is over and if Jamie Lannister becomes the 1000th Lord Commander of the Night's Watch plus I think it is going to interesting the next time Jamie and Jon meet it will probably be at Winterfell again and this time Jon is not a bastard he is a King and not only a King but THE King ……it will be gripping to see how Jamie will now bend the knee .

  6. I agree with u man I also think Jaime's comments to Jon in season 1 foreshadowed Jaime perhaps becoming a member of the nights watch maybe even the new lord commander everyone thinks Jaime will die I think he will die in the sense he will not be the king slayer anymore shedding that identity and being a man in black after all ITS ONLY 4 LIFE!!!

  7. I think Jaime will face Bran with an apology, but Bran will feel that his injury was meant to be in order for him to become something greater. And Bran will point out that Jaime losing his hand would make him something greater than he was too. I think Jaime's 'strength' will be something other than a swordsman and he will discover it in Season 8.

  8. I like the idea of Jon saving him. I also think it would be cool if Jaime saved a Stark. Another possibility would be if Jaime saved Dani at some point. It would really prove to Jon that he was on their side if he saved the one that is after the throne and Jon would be grateful he saved the one Jon loves and probably their unborn child in the process. I can't wait until Jaime and Breanne meet again and are on the same side! 🙂

  9. I think you are at least partly right! I now expect Jaime will die to save Bran's life. But I think Jon probably already has proven himself to Jaime, and been redeemed for the foreshadowing of their first meeting. But Jaime has not yet redeemed for all the damage he has done to the Stark Family directly (ie to Ned, Bran, Sansa and Catelyn). Saving Bran in some spectacular way and leaving his face undamaged for use by Arya to complete her list, is what I theorize will come to pass. This would fit into the Valonqar prophecy as well.
