In a new interview, George R.R. Martin weighed in on how he plans to end the Song Of Ice And Fire . There are still two books left — The Winds of Winter and A Dream Of Spring — to be published, and fans have been waiting since 2011 for the next book.

“People know an ending — but not the ending. The makers of the TV show had overtaken me, which I didn’t expect.”
