  1. One of the things I look for in a rewatch is the symbolism, like the dire wolf killed by the stag. The Stag kills the parent wolf (Joffrey kills Ned), and the wolf children survive. Then I look for irony, like how Catelyn whines about Ned hiding the truth about Jon from her but how many things she hides or lies about to him. Gives a whole new perspective.

  2. +Brandi Lee – Thank you so very much for your comment regarding these co-hosts. I mean really, They are bringing focus to points which have such little consequence. Just a waste of time. You are right, it's like hearing a child discovering toys? "like a, what's the guy's name…) and "they basically tell us they are lovers and it just goes over our head"? I wonder whose head he is talking about. Please don't invite people who know so little about this show/these books. This man doesn't realize Lyanna and Robert were not married…"they were never married:??" Please don't do this again.

  3. What I noticed in the direwolf scene is that the stag, even though it dies is responsible for the direwolf"s death, in the same that Robert's death (stag) is responsible for Ned's (direwolf) death, and I guess in a way Ned's coming to King's Landing hastens Robert's.

  4. i havent read thru all the comments so i dont know if someone caught this. but they comment that ned and the group left befor bran fell. they were gone. but hunting. they left in episode 2 because ned and jon say goodby to bran while he is unconscious

  5. The symbol of the arrangement is a symbol the Others used it a few times in the show (not in the books). The Others used it for the pieces of the Wildlings and pieces of the Night's watch's horses. Then Sansa is wearing that symbol when her and Littlefinger left the Erye. That symbol is actually a really cool Easter egg from one of GRRM's other books, " In the House of the Worm ". It's called a Theta.

  6. I liked the longer format.  I do admit to doing things in the background during this one but I love the discussion and I felt like I was part of a round table listening to it, much like it was a DVD commentary.  Quite enjoyable.  I'm a huge fan of the channel and love how well you weave all of the lore into your videos.  I like watching them all in a row on the weekends when I have a day off here and there.  I think my favourites are the ones where you go away from your theories and have the tribute vidoes but I love all of your content.I also am amazed how quickly you have progressed in a really short time with your edititing of the videos.  Keep up the good work!  I really like it.

  7. Harpy if you do more of these, review they other guys notes first before you start recording. If this was someone's first viewing of a Last Harpy video and they here a guy staying Robert's dead wife plus many many other errors they may not subscribe, and they'd be missing out on one of the best GOT channels on YouTube.

  8. That's… champing at the bit. Good that you show changing images from GoT while you all talk.
I think the first season was best of all and something is lost with each season being less than the season before.
I wish they'd kept the magic more subtle – but it got bigger and more obvious with each passing year. The dragons have gotten too big and the zombies are way too many and too fast.

I also think a better creative choice would have been to not show the prologue scene and revealed the Whyte Walkers north of the wall. Best to start with establishing the Starks, happy at home and they go to behead the deserter. Thus keeping the existence of first the zombies as uncertain until Jon burns one. And keeping the Others (Craster's sons) an uncertain thing in our minds (audience) until Sam sees one. So all that talk doubting their existence, in King's Landing, sounds uncertain to us.
I know GRR did it this same way in the books – I agree, keep that uncertain for a time as the plot first unfolds.

Also, there are Whytes and The Others. Zombies and then Craster's sons. I don't like that The Children supposedly made The Night King. I liked it better when they were this race of humanoids from the far north, perhaps raised by some Great Other, perhaps not. Something mysterious that happened in the far north. I just don't buy that.

  9. I caught that Cat says to Ned, when he is leaving, that she can't do it.
I can't do it Ned, I can't. Ned tells her she must.
It just doesn't fit. What exactly is she talking about. More than Ned leaving her again.
