  1. Sansa hate is so predictable. She was a child who behaved like a child, who suffered unparalleled abuse yet still remained kind & compassionate but she's apparently the worst on a show where child murderers, rapists & tyrants are glorified. Don't be mad when she lives. And Ramsay means nothing because he is not her book storyline. GRRM is setting her up to rebuild the seven kingdoms in some form & the show will follow his ending.

  2. Sansa will win the Game of Thrones whether as the Wardeness of the North or anything higher. She has the North, she has the Wildlings, she has the knights of the Vale, she has a claim at the East Casterly Rock by having married to an heir, Tyrion Lannister, whether consumated or not, she has the Three-Eyed Raven and and of course her sister, Arya, a badass Faceless Man who has her back. Good luck to those who come on her way.

  3. I for one hope Sansa survives. I hated her in the beginning but I do think she was a product of her upbringing. She was an innocent. Yes she has made mistakes but all of them have. Jamie is hugely popular now even though he pushed a child out of the window and now all is forgiven?? A consenting and knowledgeable adult tries to murder a child but a child makes a silly mistake and she must pay for it?? What???? She has paid for her sins a hundred fold. She deserves to live. I know in grrm ‘s eyes that doesn’t count for anything as we have seen lots of good characters die for terrible reasons. Teflon I am with you. And yes Sansa needs her family to survive so what? Don’t a lot of people? Actually a lot of loner characters without family have completely gone off the rails..e.g Cersei, Daenerys.
I hope Sansa gets a happy ending whatever form that may take in the GOT world. Personally I do see her with Tyrion as I feel they are well suited partners and could have a good friendship but if she is to be alone that’s fine too. She has learned and she has grown and she deserves to have a place in the end. I know I won’t convince the determined haters out there. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I’m just sharing mine. Long live Sansa Stark! Queen in the North!

  4. please stop referring to georges "original outline" his plans changed if its even real
george said he is a gardener style author, he plants a story and its characters and watches how they grow.
having an end at the beginning is completely against his style

  5. I began as a Sansa hater, and I totally agree with how Gray Area outlines her role in Ned's death.
Afterwards, I liked her arc in a very intellectual way. She is a learner. She becomes very gifted at politics.
I also liked how Teflon TV outlined the responsibility of Ned himself in his death.
I would even place the roots of this responsibility still sooner : when he wants to send Jaime to the wall because Jaime killed the mad king. Ned does not even want to listen to his defense. The unjustice Jaime suffered then made him a personal enemy of Ned and the Starks, at least in the beginning of the story. Jaime has an important personal role in the birth of the Stark/Lannister conflict : he mocks Jon for going to the N-W, sends Bran through the window, murders Stark guards on a personal decision, etc. In short : he HATES the Starks from the beginning. And after, Ned leaves him no choice. The project to reveal the bastardy of the supposed royal children made it a question of life and death : either Ned dies, or the Lannister twins die. And Ned is stupid enough to reveal his intentions to Cersei !
I like Ned, but I also think that his stiffness is too much. It sometimes becomes unjustice (as in the Jaime/mad king affair) or simply stupidity.

  6. Tony, why are you saying this? Learning the game just to die is GRRM style. Children die all the time in his world. Sansa doesn’t get that free pass of a happy ending.

  7. if sansa is elizabeth I, she must rule as a virgin. As for sansa herself, she has not yet redeemed herself to me, not enough for me to root for her. She has matured since she left rramsey… but enough for me to trust her? No. To be the mother of a new stark clan? Ugh. I'd rather it be arya, even if she does have a few screws loose.

  8. I totally agree with GA. Everything Sansa went through post-King’s Landing, she brought on herself. Let’s do a quick review, shall we? (Show-wise. Book-wise, she is my least favorite POV to read. I can’t get through them fast enough). After escaping with Littlefinger, Sansa had a chance to get away from him by telling the truth about her Aunt Lysa’s murder. Instead, she defends LF and lies for him. Then, on the way to the Finger Islands with LF, she has an opportunity to leave with Brienne but spurns her protection and leaves with LF AGAIN. (Remember that at this point, Sansa has already realized that LF had lied to Yohn Royce about where he was taking her). Once they are at Winterfell, she has the opportunity to leave instead of accepting the marriage proposal from the Boltons. She listens to LF once again and goes ahead with the marriage. After her escape from Ramsay and subsequent reunion with Jon Snow, she convinces Jon to fight Ramsay to retake Winterfell by using the rescue of little brother Rickon as an excuse, but on the eve of the battle, she tells Jon they’ll never get him back alive. She insults Ser Davos numerous times, and even belittles Jon’s bastard status, even lying to Jon about how she got the info of the Blackfish retaking Riverrun. When Jon needed her support the most after her crushing statement that he can’t protect her, she hides the fact that she’s sent a raven to LF for aide from the Knights of the Vale. Once Jon is named King in the North, she continues to undermine him and questions his decisions in front of the northern Lords and Ladies, showing further proof of LF’s influence on her. And then there’s her conflict with Arya. From the beginning, Sansa has always made choices against her family. Her behavior when she was being manipulated by Cersei and company can be excused to youth, ignorance and inexperience. But her conduct later on through the series leaves a lot to be desired. Every one of these Main characters in this series has gone through hell. Out of them all, Sansa has been the most selfish. She is the least Stark-like of them all, and if she survives to the end, getting all the power and glory that she’s always wanted, for me, that would definitely be a “bittersweet” ending 😏

  9. Sansa didnt suffer that much dude , for a couple years, cmon man she always was ok …no threat on her life…arya had gone through more.. Besides Sansa betrayed her own family, when lady bit Joffrey.. I hope they kill her off, she is a traitor….

  10. Oh puuulease! Arya been thru a struggle too no rape but was living outdoors going hungry etc all the while sansa still lived pretty well endulging in those lemon cakes 😂😭💯
Hell jon lost ned AND his girl. He lost his life ffs! Hos struggle way more real especially since he was mistreated by cat AND Sansa(cat jr) all his life. She has not been through more than everyone in the story. Even dany been thru the same except was abused by her bitchass brother.

  11. Nice video.  I don't see any reason for Sansa not to survive.  It's not that she has a particular role to fill — it's more that she has no plot role to fill that requires her dying (as opposed to, at least arguably, Jon, Daenerys or Cersei).   Also, regarding the comment that authors do not change decisions about whether characters live or die:  JR Rowling famously decided not to kill a particular character in Order of the Phoenix, even though the death had been established in a reportedly rather airtight outline.  Martin is known for letting his stories develop.  ASOIAF changed radically over time.  It seems as though some characters grew and developed in function and importance.  That would affect whether they survived the events of the story.

  12. If Sansa gets Gendry, then it will be just another way she'll have what Cersei wanted. Gendry is like prime Robert, but more subtle, humble and virtuous. Basically what Cersei initially imagined Robert to be like.

  13. I'd like to see Sansa end up with Tyrion. I think there will be a reconnection when the targ ships get to winterfell. She will trust Tyrion unlike any other lord coming with the targ crew which will be beneficial to both houses. She always wanted a handsome strong king, it would be the ultimate character development to see her end up happy/content with little man Tyrion. Probably won't happen, but I'd like to see it.

Once Arya sees Gendry come back with Jon, Gendry will help Arya come back to reality. Either helping her accomplish her tasks or making her see it's not necessary for her to be "happy".

  14. sansa stark has always been my pick for the iron throne. cersei's younger queen prophecy was originally thought to be sansa before she shifted her attention to margaery and now daenerys. i can't imagine them not taking the opportunity to have this come full circle. i think it would be wonderfully ironic if sansa, the girl who grew up believing she would someday be queen but eventually lost sight of that wish (or had it beaten out of her), ends up queen anyway. she would be an excellent leader and there's already strong evidence and foreshadowing in both the books and the show.

  15. I am bias but I m gonna say live? Like after EVERYTHING she has been thru especially in the show it would just be disappointing if she died. Regarding continuing Stark line I think she could but idk. I just see her in Winterfell ruling the North. I like Sansa/Tyrion but I always just picture them having a chill marriage where they just do their own thing lmao. I just see Sansa ruling or being a savvy politician/hand like Varys or Tyrion or next Littlefinger but smarter. Idk if Bran would make it but if he ever gets back to normal and survives maybe he becomes KITN while Jon rules seven kingdoms and Sansa becomes Brans hand. But the ending is bittersweet so it just all depends on who lives and dies. I can’t see Sansa dying cuz she is protected. Only person I can see killing her is Cersei. I guess ALL characters will be in different locations from where they have been so maybe possible Cersei gets her (maybe Euron captures her like he did with sand snakes) I hope not though!
I agree with Teflon too that Arya will be protecting Sansa. I think Sansa/Arya will be more of a team in S8 and Jon/Bran will be a team too. It just makes sense story wise.

  16. i'm going with sansa making it till the end. I like the idea of her and gentry getting together. we need some little starks to play with the little targaryan that's on it's way.

  17. I agree, Sansa will live until the end. Her story started with her wanting to leave Winterfell sooo bad, it should end with her staying there for the rest of her life as Queen/Wardeness of the North. Her bittersweet end will be her becoming Queen, which was "the only thing she ever wanted" (Episode 1), but she'll never marry again, never have children, and everyone in her family is dead (I think Bran will die, Jon's actually a Targaryen, and I'm not 100% convinced Arya is really Arya anymore). If she dies it'll be like, 80 yrs. after the events of this story, so she'll be a very old woman who's had years and years and years to reflect on all her screw ups. She never should've taken her family for granted so she'll live with that guilt for the rest of her life. But she'll be Queen at least.
IF Sansa gets married again, I agree it'll be to Gendry, but they will fuck around and be Robert and Cersei 2.0 b/c I doubt after what Sansa went through with Ramsay, she would want a penis in her ever again, so Gendry will just go seek pleasure elsewhere like Robert did

  18. She always wanted to be a Queen, so her bittersweet story would be to become the Night Queen in a pack. Sansa is noble, so if she's lives and rules, she is nothing more than another high born like Cersei ruling the realm. Cersei, Danny and Sansa are all history. Say goodbye to Kings and Queens.
