Jimmy Hoffa is buried in the crypts, we will finally find him, lol.
I heard it somewhere that the crypts are much bigger than Winterfell itself
i think tangable proof of jons linniage is in the crypts. i dont think jon will believe that Eddard would have lied to him and will ask for proof from bran and mr tarly
What if it's more drawings like the ones at Dragon stone. Maybe there is drawing that show the starks how to defeat the others or the night king
My tinfoil theory: the Nights Watch are the âhorn that wakes the sleepers,â the sleepers are the army of dead Starks in the Crypts and the reason that there must always be a Stark in Winterfell is because a Stark is needed to lead this army – like Bran, who could possibly control them in the same way the Others control the wights.
What about the horn Jon Snow gave to Sam after finding dragon glass at the fist if the first man maybe that's the horn of winter
So Jon is afraid of the crips he's not a targaryen he's a blood!!!
I think the Night King is raising the Stark corpses. Wildlings burn bodies so they donât come back. Entombing bodies in crypts is the opposite of that.
Yes his mom is down there thats all
The crypts of Winterfell just might be the prison of the Great Other. Dragons, dragon eggs, harps and horns, have been discussed so much, and don't seem to hold much creedence. The fact there must always be a Stark at Winterfell, reason and purpose haven been forgotten, leeds to something far more significant in the crypts. The fact the crypts are very old, deep and have collapsed over time, may harbor 'the First Kinght King, Great Other.' The Children of the Forest, are said to leave magic into the foundations, walls of Winterfell when Bran the Builder constructed the oldest keep. The land was never leveled, and the Godswood /Weirwood tree's roots go very deep, under and around Winterfell. This indeed would help keep the secret of the crypts and what possible evil the crypts may hold from being unleashed.
Great theory! Sounds a bit Lovecraftian! Thank you for sharing!
