Game of Thrones’ prosthetic makeup designer, Barrie Gower, walks host Scott Ian through the process of creating the looks for the Night King, Wights and White Walkers and the shooting of the “Hardhome” episode. And, Scott becomes a White Walker!

  1. As cool as it is being someone wearing a 501st level suit I don't think I could handle latex makeup sitting there for 5-10 hours having people stick stuff on me. Hell it takes most troopers and Jedi 20-30 minutes to get into costume and we think that is alot of work (mainly because each piece makes you hotter and is hard to wear more then a few hours tops without suffering heat exhaustion).

    We have seen that dead did rise on the south side of the wall (in Castle black)

  3. I love how they only use CGI when it's really necessary. It's a lot of work but I think it's absolutely worth it, the results are so much better. All my respect for those guys.
    And oh, non related but, Ian, you rule!
