As soon as October rolls around, famous faces from A-list to Z-list begin their battle to be crowned as the best and most OTT Halloween costume on the celeb scene.

Beyonce and Jay Z as Barbie and Ken was pretty great. Remember Kylie Jenner as Christinia Aguilera last year? A strong effort. And obviously Queen of Hallowen Heidi Klum knocks it out the park almost every year.
But everyone should officially be quaking in their fake fangs for 2017, because Jason Derulo has already set the bar seriously high with his epic Game of Thrones Night King costume.
Jason took to the stage to perform at the 2017 Maxim Halloween party on Saturday night, and was decked out in head to toe, slightly terrifying Night King attire for the occasion.
The signer’s impressive dedication to the Halloween cause included a squad of fellow White Walkers, a full face of skeletal mask and prosthetics, stylish head horns, and even an entire kit of undead armour to perform in.
Jason shared a time lapse video of his Night King transformation on Instagram, revealing the insane amount of effort and talent from his team that went into the look.
The fact that he then went on to belt out Talk Dirty To Me while wearing it makes the whole thing slightly less scary, but let’s try and overlook that for now.
And next time you see the Night King on his horse for season eight of Game of Thrones, you can imagine him singing Ridin’ Solo for some extra spookiness.
Kind of puts your bin bag cape and 99p plastic fangs to shame, but hey.
While Jason’s version of the Night King is a seriously good effort and should probably win the Costume Competition, it still doesn’t quite rival the real deal.
The Game of Thrones villain is set to be the biggest and most explosive threat to Westeros in the upcoming final season of the show, with the most popular fan theory so far claiming that the Night King will later be revealed to be the three-eyed raven himself, Bran Stark.
In true GoT style, it’s all very confusing.
