Her words of encouragement come as Susan prepares to dress like her for the Strictly Halloween Special this evening alongside her dance partner Kevin Clifton, where they will be performing a Foxtrot.

In the footage, Emilia adopts her best regal voice as she says: “Susan, my sources tell me that you are playing the mother of dragons this week on Strictly Come Dancing.

“As the mother of dragons myself, I wanted to wish you luck because you are my favourite.”

Pausing, Emilia gets intense as she adds: “You and adorable Kevin – I want you to win.”

“My dragons and I will be watching, waiting, patiently to see you win Strictly Come Dancing.”

Dressed casually but with her hair in the white blonde style of her character, she finished with a final word of encouragement, saying: “I believe in you Susan. You go get ‘em!”

Susan, 42, couldn’t believe it and captioned the video: “Tonight I’m Daenerys Targaryen on @bbcstrictly. I just got a message from Daenerys Targaryen herself. Seriously. It’s actually her *swoons*”.

It Takes Two host Zoe Ball was also taken aback, tweeting: “THIS IS EVERYTHING @susancalman @kevinclifton Oh my goodness #GoT fans” alongside a series of flame emojis.

Tonight’s spooky episode comes after it was claimed the ghost of the show’s former presenter Bruce Forsyth is haunting the studio.

The TV favourite passed away aged 89 in August, and now it’s reported a “friendly presence” is being felt around the famous dancefloor.

Sir Bruce, who was buried on September 4, hosted the programme until 2013 and those familiar with poltergeists and ghouls have said it’s “not unreasonable” to believe he’s returned to his former place of work.

A BBC insider, who’s heard the familiar tap of Sir Bruce’s shoes, told The Daily Star: “It’s hard to put a finger on it, it’s just a feeling.

“The best way to describe it would be friendly presence.”

Meanwhile ghosthunter Mark Smith commented to the paper that Sir Bruce, who “loved being in the public eye”, could well be drifting back into the studio.

He said: “When we pass away the soul returns to the place we were happiest at in the physical world.

“For Bruce that could be at the BBC…

“It’s up to people whether they want to believe it is Bruce but it’s not unreasonable to think it could be.”

Strictly Come Dancing is on BBC One tonight at 6.35pm
