House of the Dragon actor Harry Collett has outlined the kind of career he hopes to build in the years ahead.
In a short clip from his British GQ New Blood interview, the 22-year-old said he wants to continue working and eventually support young people who want to enter the industry.
Thinking in long-term
In the video, Collett said the main thing he hopes for is simply to keep working.
“What I hope happens is that I just continue working, obviously, as everyone does.”
He added that he wants to take on “so many versatile roles” over the course of his life, mentioning a Western or a war movie as examples of the kind of work that would interest him.

Plans for a foundation
Collett also spoke about a longer-term goal that goes beyond acting. Once he has enough money to start it, he said he would like to set up a foundation. The idea, as he described it, would be to help young people get into acting, particularly those from families who cannot afford the cost of training or entry into the industry.
“I want to sort of start a foundation, I think. Whether that’s to help young kids get into acting or to provide families with that that can’t afford to get their kids into acting or anything like that.”
He closed the clip by saying he hopes to reach old age feeling satisfied with what he has done.
“Basically, hopefully be laying on my deathbed, hopefully old and grey, and be happy with what I’ve done.”
The comments come from Collett’s cover feature for British GQ’s November 2026 New Blood issue, in which he also discussed his work as a DJ and his Essex upbringing.
Fans miss seeing his character Jace from House of the Dragon, who is now dead. Therefore, an interview like this filled with personal insights proves to be a win for them.
