Our Humble Beginnings: The Den of Nerds started as the personal YouTube channel of our founder, Joshua Lucas. Josh is a comic book writer and editor, but more importantly, he’s a HUGE Nerd. He started making videos on June 15th 2016. The goal back then was to just talk about Nerdy things, but quickly Josh found that his interests had changed. Soon after, he formed a new vision for what The Den of Nerds could and should be.
The Changing State of Media: Media Is going through the most massive shift in the past hundred years. Everything is going digital, direct to market, and mobile. The best and worst part of this is that there are no more gatekeepers. Anyone and everyone can put their content out there and reach a mass audience. However, the new gatekeeper is the algorithm. In order to get stuff in front of people, certain practices are done which hurt quality. In this world, where established networks are now fighting for views against thousands of YouTube personalities and bloggers, ALL of these people have forgotten the most important part of this equation. That is the value for the end consumer. That is something we will NEVER do. How will we figure out how to add value to our audience? It’s simple; we’ll ACTUALLY interact with them and we’ll actually CARE.
Our Vision: We want to become the ESPN of Nerdy things, but obviously with some changes. We imagine a place and time where we have high quality and personalized content put out every day that serves Nerds around the world. We want to be hyper interactive with our viewers on Social Media and in person. Simply put, we exist to expand the fun in YOUR life! Becoming a major player in reporting, programming, and covering Nerdy things is how we plan to do that!

What if Rey is the daughter of Gallius Rax and maybe a Palpatine secret daughter. Rax was found by Palpatine and good have got in good with the family. Rey could've been left post the battle of Jakku

Rey was dropped off when she was 4/5 so she has been on jakku about 15 years … Josh is right Jj said also her isolation is part of a clue to her … but I think you guys might be applying the wrong reasoning although its good thoughts because Kenobi was was isolated for a long time … but the reason why she is isolated is because of what that Planet does for her .. it protects her as long as she stays isolated no one can find her ie … Snoke — Have to side with Brock … Luke did not drop her off …. When this story plays out its going to be Ben i think that did it and for good reason… what adds up time wise which no one puts together … is Ben was 15 when he went to luke and that is the same time she was dropped off … that is how that is going to play out … You are correct that line is special "Rey these are your first steps" but also know everything he talks Ben is also on screen and both in the vison and in the first TLj trailer as well —This saga is about Ben and he is the driving the character of this saga… The main sagas will always be about the skywalkers … …

What about Rey being a Kenobi would be obvious from watching the Force Awakens according to Daisy Ridley it was easy to assume who her parents were by watching the movie. Why do people forget that I mean nothing was even mentioned about Kenobi.
I’ve always had this crazy fanfic in my head since seeing TFA where maybe the journey to tattooine to take Luke to His Aunt and Uncle isn’t as easy as we think. Maybe Palpatine sends assassins to try and kill Obi-Wan and baby Luke. Maybe he teams up with a mandalorian female warrior to get Luke safely there. Or possibly one of Palpatine’s daughters who could be a Naboo bounty hunter. What if during the quest to get Luke safely there they have a very brief affair and their paths go separate ways. Maybe she’s pregnant with Obiwan’s child and he never knows. Maybe she never tells him because she knows how important his role is in protecting Luke. Idk just sort of my own little fan fic head Canon fantasy adventure and the time line would line up because the child would be about 1 year younger than Luke and Leia. What do you think?

I love how open minded you guys are to the direction this trilogy can go. I’ve said a few times how awesome it would be if Reylo did happen and Rey and Kylo had a child. If Rey is a Palpatine and a Kenobi then their child would be a Skywalker, a Palpatine, a Solo, and a Kenobi. How fucking bad ass would that kid be lol Reylo please be canon with Rey Kenobi Palpatine ❤️❤️❤️

Men, in my opinion the now famous Daisy's statement about Rey was just a lie, I strongly believe (for what it's worth^^) JJ did not figure it out before shooting. I mean, it's obvious? There are hundreds of channels analysing every shot of the movie, the fact that no one has come up with a clear answer means it's not obvious at all.
