AFFIRM Films brings to vivid life on screen the epic story of Paul, the man who went from persecutor of the church to its most powerful and important proponent. Paul suffers alone in a Roman prison, awaiting his execution under Emperor Nero. Mauritius, the ambitious prison prefect, can hardly see what threat this broken man poses. Once he was Saul of Tarsus, the high-ranking and brutal killer of Christians. Now his faith rattles Rome. At great risk, Luke the Physician visits the aged Paul to comfort and tend to him—and to question, to transcribe and to smuggle out Paul’s letters to the growing community of believers. Amid Nero’s inhuman persecution, these men and women will spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and change the world.

Starring Jim Caviezel (“Passion of the Christ”), James Faulkner (“Game of Thrones”), Olivier Martinez (“SWAT”), Joanne Whalley (“A.D. The Bible Continues”) and John Lynch (“The Secret Garden”).

  1. I'm sorry all these years and only NOW are they making a Paul the Apostle movie? Plus, I mean, it's Hollywood for Christ's sake. Do you guys really think they're going to portray the Truth in its entirety? No, just like Passion, they're going to fill it with satanic symbols and half-truths. There's no coincidence that Hollywood is ALLOWING something like this to come out in the last of the last days.

  2. Can't wait. Caviezel is one of the best yet most underrated actors. I love a good historical movie that shows the ordinary flawed person doing extraordinary things. It looks to be intense and captivating.

  3. I am so excited. This looks like it is going to be awesome……I especially like the voice over. I am a miserable sinner saved by the grace of God. Sometimes, I feel like the worst sinner in the world. But I am His because of the Cross. I know many will read these comments and laugh, but I pray you come to a working knowledge of Jesus Christ.
