  1. billy is the human antagonist that they originally planned for steve to be. if there isn't a character like him it's too unrealistic (good humans vs bad monsters). they knew they needed to mix it up more than that, plus billy is an accurate take on bullies in the 80's. he kinda reminds me of the older kid in Stand By Me, basically just a bully lol.

  2. Billy's character is basically what Steve was originally supposed to be. The Duffer Brothers originally planned to have Steve be a total dick of a person but changed it after Joe Keery was cast and gave him the redemption arc. Billy was created to be that character and fill the gap.

  3. Great reaction per usual gentlemen. The relationship between Hopper and Eleven is pretty unique and and complex. He's probably been a total mess and hasn't cared much for children since his daughter died. And here he is now trying to take care of her while hiding her away. And she obviously doesn't understand the the big picture and just knows that she misses her friends and Mike.

    And Billy is a total dick.
