-Am I the only one that thinks Margery's acting is not her being fake, it's just acting?
She's been playing the Game of Thrones actively since she first appeared in the show.
She wants to be THE Queen, ofc she's going to play the game, especially with Cersei.
Ned Stark was completely himself, look where it got him in KL. :/
She is playing but I legit don't think she's a bad person.
-BTW will you be reacting to History and Lore of GoT? 😀
I think you might have mentioned this before, I'm not sure, but I'm asking just in case.
You'll love watching it! So far you can watch History and Lore 1,2 and 3, and I can't wait for your reactions! 😀
i've just realised what Jojen is saying Duh. i've watched the series numerous times with reactor's and my Box Set
Only the most powerful wargs can take over people but it is considered extremely taboo by the Wildlings to usurp the mind of another; almost like heresy. Bran could get in serious shit if he's ever found out. Not to mention how horrifying it would be for someone like Hodor to not only lose control of his body but to have it be used to commit murder.
Bran killed the dude who cut off the hand that pushed him out the window. Oh, the irony! 😂
Bran skinchanged (warged) into Hodor before, yes. First time it was in Season 3 (don't remember which episode), when they were seeking shelter in that windmill during a rainstorm. The sounds of thunder terrified Hodor, who started to shout out in panic. Fearing discovery (the wildlings with Jon were outside), Jojen tells Bran to silence Hodor, who keeps panicking, so Bran unintentionally uses his warg powers to render Hodor unconscious. Bran is a skinchanger as well as a greenseer.
It is important for you to know – as Bran's story evolves in the next seasons – the difference between a skinchanger and greenseer. A skinchanger is a person with the ability to enter the mind of an animal and control its actions. A skinchanger able to enter the mind of a wolf or dog is known as a warg. Only one skinchanger has been able to successfully enter another human's mind, and that's Bran.
A Greenseer has the greensight (the ability to have prophetic dreams called green dreams) and is a warg as well. Greenseers have magical abilities, including power over nature and greensight. They can see into the past and future (e.g. Bran's visions). Only one in a thousand is born a skinchanger and only one skinchanger in a thousand is born a greenseer. Bran is both.
Many people don't care, or even hate Bran's character. Personally, I love his story and he has always been among my top 5 characters. Both in the series and the books.
I think the emoji you’re looking for is 🤯
i always wondered about the angle from the sword, it doesn't look like soemone with jons height would pierce somebody like that. it looks like he hold the sword as high as possible and then pierced the head…. nobody would do it like that
The Hound would wreck Syrio Forel. Hound wears heavy armor and has tremendous strength. Watching Jorah vs. a water dancer, we saw that the water dancer had to go for Jorah's vulnerable spots and even then he was only able to hurt Jorah a little bit. The Hound is bigger, faster, more skilled, far more strong than Jorah and tends to use full armor unlike Jorah did. Also, the Hound wouldn't lose to Meryn fucking Trant even if she started the fight without a sword.
11:20 – this was probably mentioned before, but at the beginning of GOT Jon is only 17 years old, so if it's 1 year per season, Jon is only 20-21 years old. Experience matters… a lot, even if he is a very talented swordsman.
One more reason why Jon would never let Bran leave: Bran is the Lord of Winterfell (Well, technically Roose Bolton is, but…)
I would pick the Hound over Syrio Forel. Maybe the water dancing style is a good style… Kind of, but we are certainly given no evidence that's the case. Syrio disarmed a few whitecloaks, that's true, but as the Hound mentioned, he was killed by a pretty crappy fighter. Looking at Arya's moves at this, point, I'm not impressed. The braavosi style is formal and beautiful, but not suited for real combat just like showy gold-gilded armor is not what you take into a REAL fight. It's ceremonial. And I think any real sword fighting expert might agree that the Hound's dirty, rough, practical style is the better approach.
Loved the episode. Loved the reaction. Loved the mvp/flop c choices. My favorite are the Hound Arye bits though. Love the dynamic between those two. As much as the rest of the story matters and awesome as it is, they completely stole the show while they traveled together.
The one dislike is from someone who was still breast-fed in to their adolecent years
I remember back when I saw this episode for the first time, it left me with such a good feeling, as it was one of the first times we got to experience just pure justice on this show. Jon and the boys dealing with those mutinous, rapist, scum deserters the way they did. Locke's neck getting pretzel rod snapped by Brodor. The freeing of those poor woman from their seemingly endless horror. Burning that awful place to the ground as they all look on. The visual of it, along with the epic music that plays as the screen goes black and the credits roll. Loved this one
Syrio Forrel is skilled, fast and agile. The Hound is big brute and strong. If you wonder how a fight between them would end, you're in for a treat.
16:14 You think Sansa had it bad? Oh boy..
"Can't this girl catch a break?"
lol you just wait
-nah… Bran' not MVP. He just got himself out of the hole he dug himself the last episode…
Please upload the reactions more frequently
Cersei asked Margery about being a queen..because Tywin told Cersei how the Crown was in debt and the Tyrells are one of the richest kingdoms in Westeros…
16:48 "Sansa went from one psychotic guy(Joffrey) to one psychotic aunt". Little did they know…
can't wait for the next episode 🙂
That guy hodor killed is the same guy that chopped off Jamie's hand
Bran thinks going to 3 eye raven will cure him and give him his legs back,,…that's why he didn't choose Jon snow
Your reactions are awesome 🙂
Great post discussion guys. I myself find the Iron Bank to be the most intriguing aspect to the story. We know how corrupt banks are and operate in reality and basically fund every war and in essence might be the looming threat in the story as well. I hope they utilize them accordingly in the final season.
Thanks for the split episodes again…you should use the full 10 mins on both. Also……. BATTLESTAR GALACTICA
How is Littlefinger not the mvp???? You guys always talk about impact…Littlefinger set in motion the game of thrones!
I was disappointed in that fight too but lets rem Karl Tanner had two swords and Jon had one. One sword each and Jon would win imo
I think Ceganes size would matter if he fought with Syrio Forell. It would be a very tight fight though and a very long one. Same level both of them.
The First Sword of Bravos VS The Hound, skill & speed VS brute force & ruthlessness, hmm, that reminds me of…
ANSWER for the fight between quick/skilled/low armor/rapier sword. Vs brute strength/some skill/long sword/armor… you pretty much got your answer in this episode already, jon vs the mutineer. It's a good example of how a less armored quick moving guy can kill an armored heavy sword guy. Kind of like daario naharis vs the champion. You will see the purest example of this in an episode to come within this season. You saw this when oberyn attacked the lannisters in the brothel. For you to be quick, you need skill. And if you are skilled, speed wins majority of the time
3:30 is one of the most disturbing scenes n this whole show. Not because of what they show but the fact that neither Bran nor the audience seems to get the full gravity of what is going on here. The audience doesn't seem to care and Bran and Bran possesses Hodor and makes him kill someone which Hodor obviously was very stricken by when he sees the blood on his hands.
Karl Tanner, the fookin legend of gin alley. none of them cocksuckers got away from him. jon snow didnt stand a chance
You guys are awesome.Love your reactions and enjoying watching GOT with you two.Keep it up👍
18:02 Yarp, lord Tywin is an impressive character.
Syrio is great, he has foot work like Conner McGregor!
#teamalistair
Lysa is bat shit crazy. It was her and little finger started this war of the 5 kings, and put all this in motion. HOWEVER, everthing has to happen this way. You will see as you keep viewing the show. Like Melasandre said," he war of the 5 kings means NOTHING, the real threat is to the north. Keep that in mind
Cersei doesn't give a crap about her children. The only reason she cares about the death of Joffrey is because they're HER children. She feels like she owes them so when you kill Joffrey, you steal from HER, you attack HER.
She doesn't care about them except for that they are an extension of HER. The reason she's mad at Tyrion isn't even as much about grief for her son as much as it is about anger at that little imp that she hates.
The show shows this time and time again, hell, even in this episode, just look at how she looks at Margaery, if she cared about Tommen, she'd want him to be happy, but she doesn't care, she just wants to be the one in control.
Cersei loves power, nothing else, not even Jaime, he's barely out the door or she's fucking her cousin.
Why do you think she wanted to poison Tommen when Stannis threatened to win blackwater? As far as she knew Stannis was not the sort of man who would kill innocent children. So why kill Tommen when there would have been a good chance that he'd let Tommen live to succeed Tywin as lord of casterly rock?
(Joffrey would have to die as he was a pretender to the crown, but Tommen did no such thing, he was merely a lannister bastard).
No, Jon did kill him. But, his bones were burned and the cabin collasped and the snow buried him.
thanks guys, always a pleasure.
