Every episode is important. They are all stock full of details for those who take the time to dig into them.
Yeah that sucks that you don't have subtitles sometimes. But you should really fix that asap, because subtitles are pretty important in some episodes (especially in s3). Great reaction though, and Sam will grow on you,

I think u should start keeping a list… which character do u like , dislike, hate , who most clever and stupidest for each episode. Cause going foward you will notice that your list will change a lot and even your aliacence. Which house are u rooting for?
Stannis basically joined a cult and burned statues of the religion of his birth as "sacrifice" to his new fire god.
It's normal to not have all subtitles, some things are not meant to be understood word for word, some are for a translator to translate out loud.
Stannis is Robert's younger brother. Ned wrote the letter to him in season 1 if you remember, telling him that Joffery was born from incest, thus Joffery is not the true king!
Stannis is the best. Stephen Dillaine. Nick from Fear of the Walking Dead's father. One of the greatest actors in the world. Him Tywin Cersei and Theon are incredible.

It's "White Walkers". You didn't get a good look at them yet. The zombies are called wights or just the dead, and the White Walkers are those controlling them.
"Day walkers" are vampires who can go out during the day in Shadowhunters lol ^_^

The statues that were being burned are religious figures from the Faith of the 7, the religion practiced by most of westeros. By burning the wooden statues Stannis Baratheon has forsaken the Faith of the 7 for the religion of R'hollor, the Lord of light.
