I remember back when casting for Angourie Rice was announced in the first Spider-Man Homecoming, it was speculated she was Gwen Stacey. She ended up being Betty Brandt. I don't know how I feel about them shoving so many possible love interests to Peter. I mean, its as if they've removed the over-stuffed villain element to replace it with lovers… lol. I hope that isn't going to happen, and I thought I read that Jon Watts confirmed that Michelle Jones (MJ) of this universe was not the actually MJ (Mary-Jane Watson). I will say, I thought they handled 'The Death of Gwen Stacey' very well in the Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie, it was sad, it felt like a heartfelt moment, acted well. I don't think we need to see it all again especially after them just doing it not that many years ago. That being said, I think a Spider-Gwen is more plausible. Time will tell, but I saw you showed a picture of Silk, and they have featured Cindy Moon in the first Homecoming movie, it would be awesome to see her, as the actress was just confirmed to appear in Infinity War.
