Lena Headey’s body double returns for filming Game of Thrones Season 8

Game of Thrones Season 8 filming is currently running full speed ahead, and we have been bringing you the news. Now, we haven’t had many spoilers this time around, we might have a minor one now. Rebecca Van Cleave, who has played the body double for Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister on Game of Thrones, is returning for Season 8. Read on!

Now, you might remember Cersei had a pretty shameful nude scene back in Season 5, the walk of shame. However for this scene, Rebecca Van Cleave played the nude body double for Lena Headey, and she seems to be coming back for Season 8 according to the Industry Casting:

The tweet has since then deleted, but Rebecca herself posted a few tweets confirming she’s in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the prime filming location for Game of Thrones:

I’ve just been introduced to the Belfast breakfast of porridge and Bushmills, finally answering the age old question of “is it too early for whiskey?”

Help! #Urgent!#Belfast!
Is there a number I can call to get a warm bed for a lovely homeless lady I met in town?

Now, her return means that Cersei has naked scenes in Season 8, but what are we looking at? While we don’t think she’ll be walking the streets of King’s Landing naked again, it’s likely that Cersei beds someone. We know Jaime is out of the picture so that’s unlikely, which means it’s likely that it’s Euron Greyjoy that gets a shot.
