Game of Thrones scored a ridiculous 22 nods for the Emmy Awards 2018.
And the stars did a fine job of stealing all the red carpet glory too on Monday night when Emilia Clarke and Gwendoline Christie lead the cast outside the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Brienne Of Tarth star Gwendoline left her warrior alter-ego behind and exuded feminine charm in a slinky, canary yellow gown, while Emilia looked nearly-nude in a very daring Dior dress.
The actress, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, turned heads in a floor-sweeping gown that featured a lace panel that clung tightly over her chest and gave the illusion of looking topless.
She balanced the bold bodice with an elegant tulle skirt, adorned with bright blooms.
Her counterpart Gwendoline went for classic colour-pop drama on the red carpet, looking show-stopping in a yellow shade.
Her dress, plunging to the navel with a rustic drawstring belt, skimmed elegantly over her 6ft2in frame with billowing sleeves adding to the float effect.
Gwendoline sharply offset the shade with a red lipstick and left her hair in loose, golden waves.
Emilia and Gwendoline were joined on the red carpet by Nathalie Emmanuel in classic monochrome, as well as Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Kit Harington.
Game Of Thrones has received nods in the category of Best Supporting Actress for Lena Headey and Best Supporting Actor for Nikolaj and Peter Dinklage.
However all in all, The Handmaid’s Tale looked set to steal the biggest prize of the night for Outstanding Drama from Game Of Thrones.
