Bran (played by Isaac Hempstead Wright) has become more and more powerful during the course of Game of Thrones as he has obtained several powers.
He is able to warg into the minds of others, as well as see the past and future through his power of Greensight.
And some fans believe these could prove to be important plot points in the final series of the HBO fantasy epic.
One viewer has theorised that Bran will use it to his advantage in a big battle scene.
âDo you think Bran will warg into Rhaegal? During the battle of Winterfell and fight Viserys with Dany on Drogon,â wrote Reddit user cheesey143.
Other fans seemed to be in agreement with the theory, and added to the speculation.
Forum user Mindless_Art replied: âYes. I think Jon is going to ride Rhaegal, but he will somehow be thrown off, and Bran is going to warg into the dragon and fight on.
âI have nothing to substantiate what I’ve just said, except maybe a little glimpse we got from Bloodraven: âYou will never walk again, but you will flyâŠâ May or may not be a hint.â
Could this be a big clue about how Bran will âflyâ?
Although it is important to note the youngest Stark does actually do some flying already when he appears as the ravens.
Meanwhile, another fan supposed that Bran will warg into Viserion instead.
As viewers know, Viserion is currently under control of the Night King (VladimĂr FurdĂk) after he was struck down and turned into an undead dragon.
So, that means Viserion is a weapon for the Night King but that could all change if Bran uses his powers.
They wrote: âJon will ride Rhaegal. But there is a possibility that Bran wargs Viserion to mess with NKâŠâ
One star of the show has recently hinted that it could be a grim end for all the characters.
Liam Cunningham, who plays Ser Davos Seaworthy, appeared on The Late Late Show at the weekend to discuss the ending and if his character would survive.
He said: âSo far, so far. That doesnât mean anything. Weâre all going to die.â
Liam then explained: âDonât forget: âValar morghulisâ – which is one of the phrases on the show which means âall men must die’.â
The actor also added that the episodes will âmake epic seem smallâ.
Game of Thrones season 8 will return to HBO and Sky Atlantic on April 14. Seasons 1-7 are currently streaming on NOW TV.
