What to expect in Game of Thrones season eight episode three

The third episode of season eight is set to be one of the biggest episodes that the series has produced as The War of Winterfell gets underway.

It will be the longest episode in the history of the show, with 1 hour and 22 minutes of action in store for fans.

The trailer for the third episode teases the upcoming battle against the White Walkers and their army of the dead.

We see some of our favourite characters including Tyrion, Samwell Tarly and Sansa Stark brace themselves for the attack, while Jon Snow is shown on the battlefield and Arya Stark is seen running frantically in the castle.

Theon Greyjoy is also seen firing a flaming arrow, and the final shot shows Brienne of Tarth shouting as she prepares to fight.

Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen also come face-to-face again in the trailer, with fans left wondering what will happen now that Dany knows about Jon’s claim to the throne.

There was only a brief shot of one of the dragons during the trailer, but it’s likely that they will have a significant part to play on the battle once the fighting gets underway.
