Game of Thrones season eight was a disappointment but Arya Stark was, as usual, one of the best things about the show.
Now behind the scenes footage of Maisie Williams absolutely nailing her fight choreography for the Battle of Winterfell has made us fall in love with her all over again.
The Night King himself Vladimír Furdík has shared the clip to his followers on Twitter.
The Icelandic actor portrayed the Night King for the final two seasons of the HBO series but worked as a stunt man for even longer than that.
Tweeting to his 10.6K followers, he wrote: ‘Arya fight choreography, rehearsal vs episode. @Maisie_Williams (via Rowley Irlam) #GameOfThrones.’
The video features Maisie rehearsing the now-iconic scenes in her normal clothes (complete with some fetching yellow wellies) before the final cut is shown.

The girl knows how to wield a stick that’s for sure.
It really goes to show just how dedicated Maisie and the other cast and crew were and despite the bad reaction to the finale, episode three, The Battle of Winterfell will forever go down as one of the most impressive battle sequences in televisual history.
Fans have been reacting the clip to praise Maisie’s stunt and fight skills.
One tweeted: ‘She is amazing, and the fact that the Night King himself is posting it makes this video absolute gold.’
While another added: ‘In wellies no less!! Go on guuuurrrlll!!’
BRB going to rewatch the Battle of Winterfell again.
Game of Thrones season 8 is streaming on NOW TV.
