Jason Momoa and Emilia Clarke are friendship goals! Seriously, just watch how he surprised her during her interview with MTV News for her birthday. They are adorable!

Side note: Jason Momoa has some feelings about the Game of Thrones series finale. He did not like where Daenerys ended up and blames Jon Snow: “He could have loved her better”. Eh, I think Khal Drogo loved her best and still does, just saying.

And while we’re talking about Jason Momoa, we have to talk about his recent interview with NME. As many of you know, Momoa’s Apple TV+ series, See, has officially premiered. After watching a couple of episodes of it myself, it feels very fitting for Momoa to have taken on this role as it reminds me a lot of his character on Frontier and even gives me Khal Drogo vibes.

While speaking with NME, Momoa opened up a bit about Khal Drogo’s death on Game of Thrones and what his role as Baba Voss on See means to him:

I’ve always wanted to do this. I’ve always felt like I’ve been cheated in a lot of the things I’ve done. You try to show a little bit of colour in there, you know, with Conan but no one wants to see Conan crying and with Drogo he died before any of that stuff could happen. In Frontier all his family were killed and it was about the revenge of it all. In this it’s just beautiful because you see the whole arc of it all.

To be honest, I feel cheated over Khal Drogo’s early death, too. Imagine Khal Drogo riding alongside Daenerys on one of her dragons! Although I guess she wouldn’t have had them if not for his death…

In other news, real-life BFFs Maisie Williams (Arya) and Sophie Turner (Sansa) are among the richest celebrities under 30 in the UK, according to Metro. Due to their youth, the girls never made as much money per episode of Game of Thrones as their older costars, but by the end they were still pulling down about $175,000 for every installment. Then there’s Turner’s turn as Jean Grey in Dark Phoenix, and Williams has her social networking app Daisie…It suffices to say, these girls are killing it in the post-Game of Thrones world.
