Whenever Nathalie and Emilia are asked about each other in interviews, still to this day are they singing each other’s praises.

Nathalie once told People magazine that working alongside her fellow actress has always been a ‘joy’.

She said: ‘I remember coming back to work and hearing about (her surgeries) and being like, “Wow, it’s just so crazy and there you are, ready to go back to work.” She’s such a beast. As a woman, she really picks herself up and keeps going.

Emilia underwent brain surgery during season one after suffering from two brain aneurysms.

‘She’s really inspiring, I’m so proud of her,’ Nathalie pressed. ‘And then what she’s chosen to do with that experience, to help other people, is so amazing and I’m just incredibly happy for her and how important her work is.’

And there is no rivalry between the two stars, as the 31-year-old explained how they love to learn from each other.

‘I really have thoroughly loved working with her. I loved learning from her. And we just check in with each other every so often.’

Emilia reciprocated the feels when sharing a picture from a fan event, which they posed in alongside Jon Snow actor, Kit Harington.

‘All the love to @nathalieemmanuel my girl never leaves a bredren in da club….’

Girl power is an incredible thing, especially when both gals are extreme bad*sses like Nathalie and Emilia, who it turns out were both there for one another during some of their darker moments on set.

Just recently, Nathalie recalled the time the 33-year-old swooped in when an incident with a co-star.

Chatting to Vogue.co.uk, she explained: ‘[Emilia] and I always looked out for each other. If you’re the only girls on a male-dominated set, it bonds you in a certain way.

‘For example, in my first season, my costume was pretty revealing, and there was an incident with a supporting actor who made a comment about it on set – I mean, typical – and Emilia straightaway had my back.

‘It got handled,’ she noted.

Legends supporting legends – something we need to see right now.

Game of Thrones seasons one to eight are available to stream on NOW TV.
