Game Of Thrones’ Sophie Turner praises ‘husband of the year’

Game Of Thrones star Sophie Turner has hailed Joe Jonas as the “husband of the year” after receiving a very retro early Christmas gift from him.

The actress shared her excitement over the present on Instagram as she thanked her musician husband for his purchase of a T-shirt covered in throwback photos of singer and actress Miley Cyrus.

The top is emblazoned with the words “Hannah Montana” and features photos of Cyrus both in character as Disney icon Hannah, who she played between 2006 and 2011, and as herself after she had shed her Disney image, including a picture of her wearing a dramatic cone bra.

“Thanks to the hubbs of the year for my early Christmas gift,” Turner wrote alongside a photo of herself posing in her new item of clothing.

Cyrus actually used to date Joe Jonas’ younger brother Nick Jonas back in their Disney days, with Cyrus not publicly confirming their relationship until after they split in 2017.

But it seems there are no hard feelings between the Cyrus and Jonas clans, with Turner proudly rocking her new Miley top.

Turner and Jonas married in May 2019 in Las Vegas before holding a second ceremony in the South of France two months later.

They welcomed their baby daughter Willa in July this year, with their spokesperson saying that the couple were “delighted” to welcome their first child.

Turner has since revealed that she has got a tattoo tribute to her daughter, having had the letter “W” inked on her wrist below the “J” she already had for her husband.
