Netflix flexes its streaming muscle in a new trailer that shows off some of the 70+ movies it has on the way in 2021. Please binge responsibly.

Netflix is debuting over 70 new original movies in 2021, many of them packed with stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, the Rock, Melissa McCarthy, Ryan Reynolds, and many more. If you’re HBO Max, you’ve gotta be feeling a little put out right now.

The world’s biggest streaming service is promising at least one new movie every week of the year, and showed off a bunch in a new trailer. Yes, the canned quips from the celebrities sound even dorkier when filmed safely from home (“Halle Berry owes me a Coke”), but the message comes through: Netflix is here to crush everyone.

Check out the trailer below:

There’s lotsa movies on the way, but here are some of the bigger ones:

Don’t Look Up

Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence play astronauts trying to convince the world to take the threat of a comet heading for Earth seriously. This is from The Big Short director Adam McKay, so expect much in the way of satire.

The supporting cast is insane and includes Jonah Hill, Tyler Perry, Timothee Chalamet, Cate Blanchett and Meryl Streep.

Red Notice

The Rock is an FBI profiler while Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot are criminals in this action flick.

Thunder Force

Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer give themselves superpowers so they can fight a supervillain menace.

Army of the Dead

The dead have taken over Vegas. Dave Bautista leads the cast of director Zack Snyder’s new zombie outing.

Fear Street

This is adapted from R.L. Stine’s bestselling horror series of the same name, and sounds like it will attempt to connect a bunch of the stories.
