Sad the seventh season of Game of Thrones is over and it’s approximately a gazillion years until that all-important eighth and final season arrives on screens?
Well, you won’t be if you find yourself in Barcelona, where Game of Thrones: The Touring Exhibition will reside during the long winter ahead.
The exhibition will open its doors for the very first time on October 28 at the historic Museu Marítim in Barcelona, Spain.

Organisers have promised fans an up-close and personal look at props, costumes, set decorations and more from Game of Thrones – and at 10,000 square feet, the interactive experience is the largest public exhibition about the show to date.

HBO has promised the exhibition will feature immersive and interactive elements too, so if you fancy a trip to Barcelona, you can relive the series and the long-running battle for the Iron Throne while you wait for those all-important final episodes.
“From the steps of Dragonstone to the Great Pit of Daznak, the country and people of Spain have played host to some of the most iconic settings in Game of Thrones,” said Jeff Peters, vice president of licensing and retail at HBO.

“It adds to the excitement that our first location for this exhibition is also in a country where we recently launched a new streaming service, HBO España.
“We’re confident that our fans in Barcelona, throughout Spain, and across Europe, are going to love this new opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Game of Thrones.”
