Stannis Baratheon’s Ensemble Wields Regal Power
Featured in Season 2, Episode 1 (“The North Remembers”), Stephen Dillane’s full Stannis Baratheon costume is a showstopper. It includes a leather cassock with chainmail and metal plating, brown moleskin trousers, a leather belt with scabbard, and two studio-crafted action weapons—a 41-inch sword and 15.5-inch dagger. Costume designer Michele Clapton crafted the look to embody Stannis’s severity and unrelenting drive for the Iron Throne. Dillane himself said the heavy ensemble helped him fully step into the character’s formidable aura.
