The first episode of the show ended with Dunk and Egg meeting once again and the knight accepting Egg’s proposal to squire for him. Viewers are certainly intrigued by this duo who will eventually traverse through the continent, enjoying unique adventures along the way. Dunk reached Ashford to participate in the tournament and maybe win some money with it.
The second episode of the show will pick up right where it left off with the official synopsis released recently. It reads,
Dunk appeals to various lords in order to gain entrance into the tournament…but Egg advises him to hold onto his pride. When the Targaryens arrive at Ashford, Dunk seizes his moment with Prince Baelor. (via IMDb)
With this interesting turn of events, viewers will likely get more insight into Egg’s past and who he really is. His dynamic with Dunk will also evolve, taking the narrative further.
