What season 2 holds for Egg
Season 2 of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms adapts George R.R. Martin’s second Dunk and Egg novella, The Sworn Sword. Fans can look forward to more action and growth for young Egg alongside Ser Duncan the Tall, played by Peter Claffey. Dexter has previously teased that his character will see increased involvement in adventures, battles, and political intrigue across the Reach, all while keeping the series’ lighter, road-trip tone.
Production for season 2 began in late 2025, primarily in Belfast with additional shoots in Spain for drier, drought-themed scenes. After a pause caused by flooding in Gran Canaria, the team is now back on track, building toward an anticipated 2027 release.
