Richard Madden might have an inkling about what’s going to happen in the final season of Game Of Thrones.

The actor played Robb Stark on the show until he was killed off in season three during the shocking Red Wedding scene.

With the show that made him a household name approaching its final season, Madden was asked what he was hoping ot see, and his answer is intriguing.

‘There’s nothing I want to see. … I think they’ve done it so well, in terms of the amount of time we’ve had “Game of Thrones” and are sitting with it,’ he told Variety.

‘I think it’s great to come to a great end on this and not run it out [for] another five years — as much as I could watch another five years of it.’

He thinks they’ve ‘done it well’ does he eh?

Richard, who starred in BBC hit drama Bodyguard, added that people are ‘still very heartbroken’ over Robb’s death.

Asked about the response to him in Bodyguard, he said: ‘I suppose nothing is going to be the same as the reaction to the Robb Stark death, which is a great way to die, and a lot of people are still very heartbroken by that.’

His turn as troubled protection officer David Budd in Bodyguard was such a success that there might be some more episodes on the way, according to the star.

Richard revealed he has plans to meet with Bodyguard’s writer Jed Mercurio to discuss the second chapter of Bodyguard.

He revealed: ‘I’m going to meet Jed in a couple of weeks, to have a chat and see what’s in his brilliant brain.

‘So I’m like, what can happen next? You know, with David. Because he had a hell a couple of months there. Where do you go with this guy?’

While a second series hasn’t yet been confirmed by the Beeb, despite being the most successful television drama since records began in 2002, Jed recently hinted he’d bring Richard’s character David back.

‘He’s the genuine article, a real leading man,’ he told Radio Times. ‘And I think this role has put him very much in the spotlight for bigger things.

‘So the practicality may be that we have to work round his availability, if we are lucky enough to get him back.’

Game Of Thrones is set to return for its final season in 2019.
