The Game Of Thrones season finale is quickly approaching, and most of us simply aren’t prepared.
But that doesn’t include one boss, who created an an entire prediction game for his employees, based on who will live and die in the final season.
We give it an A+ for dedication.
The pool includes fan faves, from Jon Snow and Arya Stark to Brienne Of Tarth and Gendry, and along the side, a few different fates: ‘alive’, ‘dead’, and ‘becomes a white walker?’
It’s a little morbid, but we’re here for it nonetheless.
One Game Of Thrones-loving employee was clearly thrilled with the pool, as he shared it on Reddit, writing: ‘My boss made a GOT prediction sheet for all the fans at work. I feel like we are filling them out like people fill out their March madness brackets.’
The rules are simple: you get a point for however many you guess right, lose a point for being incorrect, and the most points at the end wins.
If George RR Martin and HBO are going to break our hearts, we may as well make some money out of it, right?
However, Maisie Williams, who plays Arya in the fantasy series, has given an ominous hint about the season finale, explaining: ‘I don’t think anyone is going to be satisfied [when it ends] I don’t think anyone wants it to end but I’m really proud of this final season.’
She added to Sky News: ‘It’s going to be really weird when it’s done and everyday it’s a step closer to it not being a part of my life anymore.’
Though she also coyly insisted no one will see the events of the finale coming. Her exact words: ‘It will be very unexpected.’
We’re not sure whether to be excited or terrified. Probably both.
Maisie stars in the first trailer for season eight, which saw Arya, Sansa and Jon Snow all descending on the House of Stark crypt.
But where was Bran Stark? Fans now think his absence confirms the identity of The Night King and we’re all for it.
We’re off to start filling out our predictions pronto.
