In the scene in season 1 where the assassin comes to kill bran he says "it's a mercy, he's dead already." That's the dramatic irony… because bran is the night king. And being stuck in his loop he's effectively died multiple times and relived. Not to mention him being the night king in the first place is essentially death. And also the sword is made from what? valerian steel.

Jon's idea to keep the dire wolf's was the best idea Ned Stark ever accepted.
